（吉隆坡7日讯）美佳利（MERCURY，8192，主板工业产品股）持股70%子公司Paramount Bounty私人有限公司，今日获得Aturan Prisma私人有限公司（APSB）颁发建筑合约，总值2501万4587.65令吉。

美佳利向今日马交所报备，上述合约从开工日开始算起，为期6个月。

根据该公司文告，该合约是为一项位于雪州鹅唛淡江（Ulu Kelang）市镇的建筑工程，进行土木工程，包括工地清洁、建筑护土墙及改良土质。

The value of the contract awarded is RM25,014,587.65 (exclusive of Goods and Services Tax) and the completion period for the Construction Works is six (6) months from the commencement date of the Construction Works. The Construction Works are expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of Mercury Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2018. The Project which was initially awarded by Upaya Jernih Sdn Bhd to PBSB has been terminated and the balance value of the Project was subsequently re-awarded by APSB to PBSB. APSB has informed PBSB that the employer of the Project has notified the Project owner, Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia, of the demobilization from the Project site. The estimated value of the suspended contract is RM73.06 million. The suspension will not have any effect on the share capital and net assets of the Company. However, it is expected to reduce the earnings of Mercury Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2018. None of the directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with them has any interests, direct or indirect, in the abovementioned termination. The Company will make further announcement in relation to the progress of the Project. This announcement is dated 17 August 2018.
