actually if you unable to attend full 2 week annual camp you can attend at least 3 days each of any latihan berterusan, latihan lanjutan and annual camp. Because for those 3 type of training is count by 1 day 24 hours. minimum attendance is 3 days = 72 hrs enough for you to renew your ROD in services if you really too busy for that year even saturday and sunday.   For me i join AW until now 12 yrs so far every years my attendance is normally 95% or 100% on all kind of weekend training, lanjutan, berterusan and annual camp. Can or can not it depend on you have the heart to keep it on or not.

##correction, weekend training is 10hrs a day but some unit might request 12 hrs a day during weekend training(latihan tempatan). During all types of long training (3 days and above) last time it count only 10 hrs a day(same as weekend training) but since 2-3 years ago already changed to 1 days count 24 hrs. so if you attend a full annual camp for 14 days you will get 336 hrs. Thank you.

What Deltaboyz is true that is the new rules,  if you unable to go every year at least near to the yr you need to renew ROD better you attend annual camp at least minimum 3 days. If not they might stop you from renew unless you have a good reason and you instructor and officer willing to support and give you recommendation. there are cases where you ask for promotion to higher rank they reject and ask you to explain why you didn't attend any  annual camp. For other rank so for nver heard got this problem but for officer Yes so beckylaw please try to attend the minimum annual camp. Bcuz base on your exp n knowledge i believe you are fit to get promote to LTM so you have to check back the most updated rules so that BPS no reason to reject your application.

Only regular army have  Grup Gerak khas (特種部隊) in AW don't have. but we only have Risik AW. You may refer  to http://army.mod.gov.my/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=26&Itemid=44

ROD我已Renew 了，现在是等升级。一同训练的同伙，别的Regiment，没看Requirement 就帮他们弄升级手续了。现在已宣誓及面试，等升级仪式。我的Regiment就必须跟prosedure,所以没办法必须去Latihan Tahunan。
我宁愿去Kursus,  Latihan 闷呆了。

Some times not because they didn't follow requirement. as i mention those special case because some 500 unit not enough officer.  that why they open 1 eye and close 1 eye  just recommend for promotion.  For 500 unit that close to IPTA that have a lot of Palapes officer. Due to officer already too many that why they have to strictly follow the proseduce if not, BPS will query your TK and OC and you also need to write a report on why you didn't attend annual camp for them to reconsider your promotion loh .  So after you get promote to officer you have to try to attend at least the minimum days(3days)  annual camp if you wish to get promote to higher rank in officer for your future. becasue promotion of officer will be interview by at least Bridg Gen or higher. Promotion and renew ROD for officer are not as easy as promotion for other rank, you will know it in future if you stay long enough in AW.  Wish u all the best and successful to promote to at least LTM. if you have master or other higher qualification you may bring along including all the cert  you get during the other  rank courses n show to them.  they can consider to promote you directly to LT also if you meet their requirement.  ok    if you want to know more detail you can msn me ngkoktian@hotmail.com

十二年的服务了，原来是前辈。方便的话，请告知你的单位，军阶或其他军内的经验。

百分之九十五或以上的出席率，对很多的人来说是遥不可及。请问你是从事什么行业的呢？是公务员吗？单位的配合加上固定的假期，使我在tauliah之前3年的出席率也是百分之百。

我本身的升级和更新都没有经过面试，更别说见到一星了（其实也不想见！ ）。我的申请手续还蛮简单：体检报告、书面文件、上头推荐，八个月后就批下来了。不知大大所说的困难是指哪一方面，我才服务了6年，又是海军后备军（Pasukan Simpanan Sukarela TLDM）,还真不知道有什么内幕。可能是PSS的组织比AW小，较易于管理，而少了许多繁文缛节。

应该没有大变化吧？所有军人的抽调不都是经过同样的手续吗？何出此言？
