收购完成后，其主要业务为navi码头将投资

3 。资料库尔
湖州被纳入萨摩亚2000年10月16日。该法定股本
对湖是usd5 ， 000000 / -分为5 000000股普通股u sd1.00
每个人，其中3171720股普通股已发行及缴足行动。
其主要业务为湖，是为投资控股。

湖州是一个50 ％的子公司chemquest （海外）有限公司，而这又是一个
全资附属公司chemquest股权chemquest私人有限公司是一个有55 ％
直接附属ppb表示。

4 。财务影响收购
甲股份资本
这次收购将不会有任何作用，对股本ppb表示。

乙净资产
这次收购将不会有任何重大影响的资产净值
毒药管理局组根据其最新的经审计的合并资产负债表，截至31日
2006年12月。

长盈利
这次收购将不会有任何物质作用，对每股盈余
毒药管理局组为止的财政年度的2007年12月31日。

Contents :

1. INTRODUCTION
Pursuant to Paragraph 10.08, Part E of Chapter 10 of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, PPB Group Berhad (“PPB”) wishes to announce the writing-off by CQSB, a 55% subsidiary of PPB, of the amount owing by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chemquest (Overseas) Limited (“CQOL”) as follows :

2. RATIONALE FOR THE WRITING-OFF OF THE AMOUNT OWING
Since 1995, CQSB had advanced shareholder’s loans totaling RM84,279,173.78 to CQOL for CQOL’s working capital requirements and investments in various companies. Part of the shareholder’s loan amounting to RM73,677,990.51 was utilized for investments in companies which had since been disposed off, liquidated and ceased operation.

As such, the Board of Directors of CQSB had resolved to write-off the said sum of RM73,677,990.51 which represents the portion of the shareholder’s loan that is not likely to be recovered from CQOL.


3. INFORMATION ON CQSB
CQSB was incorporated in Malaysia on 24 October 1992. CQSB has an authorised share capital of RM200,000,000 divided into 200,000,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each and an issued and paid-up capital of RM60,000,000.

CQSB’s principal activities are investment holding, provision of management services and trading in chemical products.


4. INFORMATION ON CQOL
CQOL was incorporated in The British Virgin Islands on 2 December 1994. CQOL has an authorised share capital of USD5,000,000 divided into 5,000,000 ordinary shares of USD1.00 each and an issued and paid-up capital of USD4,737,565.

CQOL’s principal activity is investment holding.


5. FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF THE WRITING-OFF OF THE AMOUNT OWING

a. Share Capital
The Writing-off of the Amount Owing will not have any effect on the share capital of PPB.
b. Net Assets
The Writing-off of the Amount Owing will not have a material effect on the net assets or net assets per share of PPB Group based on its latest audited consolidated balance sheet as at 31 December 2006.

c. Earnings
The Writing-off of the Amount Owing will not have a material effect on the earnings of the PPB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2007.


6. INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS, MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS AND PERSONS CONNECTED WITH THEM
Save as disclosed below, none of the directors or major shareholders of PPB or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Writing-off of the Amount Owing :
