McLAREN LINKED WITH SHOCK SCHU MOVE !!!
Michael Schumacher is at the centre of more speculation regarding his future, with the German media suggesting a swap with McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen could be on the cards.
The world champion's Ferrari contract runs out at the end of next season while McLaren refuse to reveal the details of Raikkonen's deal.
This morning's Bild newspaper in Germany claims a pre-contract agreement has been signed which will see Schumacher in a McLaren-Mercedes in 2007, with Raikkonen in a Ferrari.
The same newspaper had claimed Ferrari were unwilling to give their star driver a pay rise.
Schumacher, 36, twice met Mercedes motorsport boss Norbert Haug recently, with the official explanation being he was discussing Formula One's future, rather than a return to the company he drove for in sportscars.
Schumacher has played down the suggestions, saying prior to the latest claims: "I do not want even to comment on the rumour that I may be leaving Ferrari.
"Everyone knows that I am closely tied to this team."
Haug himself has expressed his belief that it is "rather impossible" for Schumacher to leave Ferrari.

F1‧蒙薩賽道驗證新規則
阿倫索萊科能爭光奪彩
(羅馬訊)本週末在F1賽季中車速最快的蒙薩賽道上演的意大利站F1大賽車被視為最能驗證今季F1車壇革命性新規則對整個車壇局面起著變化的一個絕佳例子。
1年前,舒馬克在未到蒙薩之前,已提前奪得第7座世界冠軍寶座,而這一次他只能搶奪阿倫索與萊科能世冠之爭後的雞肋,即第3名。
目前尚有5站待續,阿倫索得95分、萊科能71分,舒馬克則只有55分。
今季的法拉利車隊無法適應新季一個引擎連用2站及每站只能用一套輪胎的新規則。阿倫索及雷諾的適應能力則很強,為保護引擎,選擇不參加早上的自由練習,並贏得了本季首4站中的3站冠軍,而另一站勝利則由隊友菲西切拉所得。
阿倫索在這之後,奪冠步伐雖然緩慢下來,但仍憑穩定的表現在車手榜上保持領航優勢。
萊科能今季的際遇如同乘過山車,時高時低,稱霸近2站的匈牙利與土耳其站,但更多時候是在幾乎穩操勝券下,出現引擎故障。
邁凱輪上週測試最快
在F1賽季裡車速最快的蒙薩賽道上,邁凱輪上週在測試中飆出最好成績,雷諾居次,但芬蘭“冰人”萊科能的引擎又出狀況,法拉利則遠遠被拋在後頭。
蒙薩賽道的平均時速為250公里,而在主要直路上的時速更達逾360公里,因此對引擎和煞車的要求比其他賽道更高。
阿倫索說:“邁凱輪車速很快,這甭須置疑,但蒙薩不同於其他賽道,我們很有信心。我們全年在直路的速度都很不錯,我很喜歡速度與冒險交融的感覺。”
這名西班牙車手深知以自己目前的領航優勢,仍能經得起在比賽中遇麻煩的挫折,但只要他繼續完賽,具有競爭力,並登上獎台,那麼他將難以失去領先地位。
邁凱輪須保持競爭壓力
反觀邁凱輪則承受必須於10月16日落幕的中國站前保持完美的壓力,而且還得寄望阿倫索製造失誤才行。
即使萊科能贏得接下來5站的冠軍,而阿倫索則每站排第3名的話,後者仍能登上世冠寶座。而萊科能對目前車手世冠及車隊世冠之爭仍未敲定的局面感到樂觀,並表示將奮鬥到底。 |

Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher went toe to toe in an enthralling first practice duel ahead of Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.
The McLaren star and seven-time world champion slugged it out for almost half a lap around the 3.6-mile Monza circuit, with the Finn holding sway as the German tried to pass down the Variante Ascari, Parabolica and pit straight.
It ensured a lively end to an otherwise mundane opening hour of practice as eight of the 25 drivers opted not to record a time, instead preserving engines given the high-speed nature of the circuit.
Jacques Villeneuve, Jenson Button, Felipe Massa, Christian Klien, world championship leader Fernando Alonso, Giancarlo Fisichella, Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher completed nothing more than an installation lap or two.
It was left to McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa to typically lead the way, proving the power of the car at a track where they are comfortably expected to win.
De la Rosa's time of one minute 20.201 seconds was almost a second quicker than the lap record set by Rubens Barrichello in the Ferrari on his way to winning last year's race.
That followed on the back of Juan Pablo Montoya becoming the fastest Formula One car through one of the speed traps, hitting 251mph in testing last week.
The Williams of Mark Webber was the quickest of the race drivers, but was 1.6 seconds down on de la Rosa, with Raikkonen and Montoya in close attendance to the Australian.
Nick Heidfeld in the second Williams, Toyota's tester Ricardo Zonta, the BAR of Takuma Sato and Schumacher completed the top eight.
Schumacher's short stint on track proved highly eventful as he missed the turn through the Rettifilio, resulting in the 36-year-old weaving his Ferrari around the barriers in the run-off area before returning to the circuit.
That came in the final 10 minutes, the start of which had seen just 10 drivers post a time - with five of those the testers - before a late flurry, with David Coulthard ninth quickest for Red Bull Racing with a time of 1:24.001.

The engine problems that have blighted Kimi Raikkonen's world championship challenge this season returned to haunt him ahead of tomorrow's Italian Grand Prix.
For the third time in the last six races, Raikkonen will suffer a 10-place penalty on the grid following today's qualifying session at Monza.
At the French Grand Prix early in July, the Mercedes engine on Raikkonen's McLaren blew in Friday practice, resulting in the Finn starting 13th from where he produced a stunning drive to finish second behind Renault's championship leader Fernando Alonso.
Eight days later in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the engine sustained an oil-pump problem and Raikkonen was demoted to 12th, eventually claiming third, with team-mate Juan Pablo Montoya taking the honours ahead of Alonso.
Raikkonen's run of bad luck continued in the following race in Germany when he suffered an hydraulics failure while comfortably cruising to victory at Hockenheim, leaving him 36 points adrift of Alonso at that stage.
However, the 25-year-old has got back on track in the last two races at Hungary and Turkey, storming to victory to close the gap on Alonso to 24 points.
It appeared the problems of the past were firmly behind Raikkonen as he cruised to the top of the timesheets in today's two practice sessions.
In the final run, he became the first and only race driver to dip under one minute 21 seconds for the 3.6-mile circuit, clocking a blistering time of 1:20.916, leaving Montoya four tenths adrift in second place.
But an hour later it emerged the Mercedes engine had an inlet valve problem, forcing Raikkonen's team of engineers into another replacement, and handing the fortunate Alonso a title fillip yet again.
