富丽华是未完全竣工，它的酒店那边还是有购物广场的。。。。。

二期购物中心不晓得能不能如期完成 ，他们是预定明年8月完工，11月开张 。

全砂最大型购物中心，富丽华周末隆重开幕

　　（古晋18日讯）全民期待已久的富丽华购物广场定于本月22日隆重启业，届时不仅成为全砂最大型购物中心，提供更完善的购物设备之外，同时也古晋市民带来诸多方便。

　　这座位于古晋市四哩半的拿督达威斯里大路旁，全砂规模最大型的购物广场的“富丽华购物广场”将于本月22日启业，相信届时必定会吸引众多的市民前往购物与消费。

　　“富丽华购物广场与古晋帝宫公寓酒店”的总面积达720,000平方尺，也是本州规模最大的一站式多元化购物广场，第一期的工程总耗资1亿令吉，将于本月杪开张营业。而第二期的工程也预定在明年竣工，同时定于明年11月开始启用。另外，而第三期的“帝宫公寓酒店”将在2009年6月竣工，预料于同年12月启用，总工程拟议耗资2亿5千万令吉。

　　富丽华集团首席执行长姚云于今日中午在记者招待会上向媒体透露，这是一个融合酒店、公寓与购物中心连成一体的广场概念，除了将成为本市另一个新景点之外，也对提升古晋经济发展起了很大的作用。

　　他说，古晋富丽华购物广场总面积达720，000平方尺的商业地点，包括超过240间不同面积的出租商业店铺单位、超过700间公寓酒店单位，并预计于2009年完成。

　　他解释，富丽华购物广场主要租户为富丽华霸级市场与百货公司，超过150，000平方尺占地四层楼，分别第一层是霸级市场，第二层为女装部、第三层是男装部及第四层是童装部。

　　“值得一提的是，超过110，000平方尺面积是综合了知名的高级精致餐厅、快餐店、西饼店、咖啡馆与饮食中心外，而且还有超过90，000平方尺的娱乐场所包括了，8间播映室的戏院、32道保龄球场、溜冰场、娱乐场、展览厅与促销活动空间。”

　　他表示，富丽华亦备有超过45，000平方尺的休闲健身空间，分别有健康SPA、瑜珈、健身操与健身中心、护肤美容、美疗与瘦身中心及一个顶楼游泳池。

　　●新鲜的购物广场建筑设计。

　　姚云表示，富丽华购物广场底楼前是车辆免进区，可以提供一个宽阔的户外活动空间，设有户外大银幕、儿童游乐园地、露天咖啡馆、户外休闲区等等，可让市民尽情享受在富丽华古晋购物中心购物之余的休闲乐趣。

　　他称，在车辆免进区亦设有架空车道让车辆直接可通往购物中心的一楼前面，就如同古晋国际机场那样，这是一个非常新鲜的购物广场建筑设计。

　　他指出，除了主要租户富丽华霸级市场与百货公司提供大量货源的物品和更完善的服务外，亦少不了各式各样的购物商店，包括国际品牌服装店、名牌皮革店、电脑与科技产品等。

　　同时，除了以上设备之外，富丽华购物广场亦设有父母与孩子休息处，当母子在逛累之余，亦有个休息处给予他们休息。

　　另一方面，他也只指出美里及民都鲁新工程已经获得批准，既是美里全新一座帝宫购物广场（Imperial Plaza）即将在今年6、7月开始动工兴建，预订于2009年3月竣工，而民都鲁兴建拥有超过400间客房的帝宫酒店，并预期在2009年完成，而富丽华民都鲁购物广场与帝宫公寓工程，则预期在2010年中旬和下旬全面竣工。

今年已经动工了，预期是在2009年3月竣工。

Boulevard Shopping Mall to hold soft opening

KUCHING: Sarawak’s largest one-stop lifestyle centre, Boulevard Shopping Mall at Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli is all set to welcome shoppers this Saturday (Dec 22).

Boulevard Group of Companies CEO Don Yew Hoon said workers had been working round the clock for the shopping mall’s soft opening at 10.30am by group chairman Datuk Ling Chiong Ho.

Speaking to reporters yesterday, he said Boulevard Hypermarket and Departmental Store covered over 150,000 sq ft of Phase 1 of the new mall.

“There are other 52 other retailers including leading franchises such as Famous Amos, Kenny Rogers, KFC, Pizza Hut, Sushi King, Ayamas, Old Town Kopitiam, Watson and Guardian.

“Some of these retailers will open this Saturday while the rest before the yearend,” he said adding that the mall would cater for all from low to high income earners.

Several other established franchises such as McDonald’s, Dome Cafe and Starbucks have expressed their interest to operate at Boulevard as well, he said.

Yew said Phase 1 of the mall costs about RM100 million (excluding land cost) offering nearly 800 parking bays in the basement for shoppers’ convenience.

The mall would have more retail space totalling over 700,000 sq ft and 2,011 parking bays after Phase 2 is completed in December 2008, he said adding that there would be six cineplexes, a 32-lane bowling centre, a skating rink, a playground, an amusement arcade and an exhibition and promotion area in the pipeline, he said.

He said it would also have a bank, post office, food court, open air Boulevard Avenue for concerts, events and festive fairs, lifestyle spa-yoga-gym-aerobics centre and rooftop swimming pool in line with its one-stop lifestyle mall concept.

He said this mall would be integrated with Imperial Apartment Hotel, offering over 700 units for completion in 2009.

“These multi-million ringgit projects are under the investment of Shin Yang Group, a timber-based organisation,” said Yew.

He said the proposed Boulevard Shopping Mall and Hotel Apartment in Bintulu and Imperial Plaza in Miri had been approved, expected for completion in 2010 and 2009 respectively.

On the soft-opening this Saturday, he said there would be an ongoing roadshow to promote Boulevard Family Card and other products from its business partners.

To usher in the coming Christmas season, there will be Christmas carolling from Dec 22 to 24 from 2pm to 3pm (session one) and from 7pm to 8pm (session two) while Santa Claus and Santarina will be making appearances with gifts to be given away between Dec 22 and 25.

On Dec 25, a Christmas Tree Deco Competition and Boulevard Christmas Performance by staff will be held.

Other coming events include a Mini IT Fair (Dec 26 to 27), TV10 Concert featuring Village Kids (Dec 28), Phoebe Yap and BoyzFrenz ‘Oh My Honey Meet The Fans Session’ (Dec 29), Christmas charity project at Sarawak Orphanage Home or Peryatim (Dec 30) and Boulevard New Year countdown party (Dec 31).

19-12-2007: MFM to open Manhattan Fish Market in Middle East

PENANG: Revenue Valley Sdn Bhd’s subsidiary MFM Restaurants Sdn Bhd, the operator of the Manhattan Fish Market restaurant chain, will be expanding to the Middle East next year.

The company has identified Middle East-based Marsiana International Pte Ltd to franchise the Manhattan Fish Market brand in the region with its first outlet to open in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, by April 2008.

Revenue Valley assistant marketing manager Josephine Wong said it also planned to expand its presence in other cities in the region including Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

“We are targeting to have 21 outlets in the Middle East region within the next five years,” she told reporters here yesterday after celebrating Manhattan Fish Market’s fifth anniversary in Malaysia.

She added that its initial set-up cost for its outlet in Jeddah would be about RM1 million. Currently, there are 21 Manhattan Fish Market outlets in Southeast Asia with 19 in Malaysia, two in Singapore and one in Thailand.

Of the 19 outlets in Malaysia, 14 are owned by MFM Restaurants, while the remainder belongs to two franchisees.

Wong said it would be expanding its operations to East Malaysia in January next year with two outlets opening at two different malls in Kuching.

The two outlets, to be opened at the Boulevard Mall and Spring Mall, would have a floor space of about 2,000 sq ft each costing some RM500,000 per outlet.
