2NE1 leader CL reveals that Big Bang leader G-Dragon chose and bought for her personally a strawberry ring.

In a recent interview:
This is the girl who would normally stated Madonna, Lauryn Hill, musicians with their own charms and confidence, as the musicians she like. When asked why, she said, “I like, and of course it is the best, for a musician to show off one’s own charms and pose on stage. I want to be like someone who will show off her own charms and yet not force it out too strongly on stage. You can simply just see her existence on stage.”
And when asked if she liked other male musicians other than the 2 stated, she said ‘Big Bang’. She reveals that she gets along with the Big Bang members well and comfortable. CL said, “I’m the closest to Kwon JiYoung oppa. JiYoung oppa is a very affectionate person, there was once he went out to pick an accessory which is a beautiful ring with the shape of a strawberry for me.”
This girl is also writing lyrics and songs during her free time these days. She said, “Even though it is still no up to satisfaction, with all the musical inspirations I get and accumulate, I hope to show to everyone the music I make one day.”
“I’m someone who really cannot express well what is inside my heart. I have yet to say things like ‘Thank you’ or ‘I love you’ to my fans. But I believe that everyone knows that that is just me who can’t express myself well, but in my heart it is different.”
They seemed really close and you can see a little of a G-Dragon shadow in her at times too, especially this particular shot that was revealed online recently.
Yoon Eun Hye, previously from Baby VOX, said in a interview, “I worked as a singer when I was a kid but I regret not showing much of my charms in front of the camera. But these days the singers are so good! I am huge fan of 2NE1. They have cute and beautiful personalities. I hope I can have meals with them.”
Meanwhile, she is currently actively filming the drama “Take Care of the Lady” with
Yoon Sang Hyun, Jung Il Woo, and Speedy Scandal gorgeous little boy Wang Suk Hyun.
2NE1 TV has achieved 1% ratings and its ratings continue to soar since its broadcast.
According to Mnet, “A way to measure a cable channel’s success is if the programme’s ratings is over 1%.”
The producer of 2NE1 TV said, “The oversized captions and editing skills in the show appeal to the audience, and the show allows the viewers to take a peek into their 2NE1’s everyday lives allowing them to connect better with their idols.”
In addition, due to 2NE1’s popularity as well as frequent performances on music shows, Mnet’s 2NE1 TV is getting a hige reaction from the audience.
2NE1 Park Bom, “There were plans for me, Goo Hye Sun and Sandara Park to be a in trio”
Newcomer 4-member group 2NE1 member Park Bom revealed that there were actually plans for her to be in a trio group together with Sandara Park and Goo Hye Sun.
Park Bom was with the other 2NE1 members attending the exhibiting of fellow YG artistes Goo Hye Sun as shown on 2NE1 TV aired on 22nd. During the show, the girls had given their congralutory greetings to Goo Hye Sun, she smiled and looked at the camera, “I will appear here too? So you will do a HyeSunTV too?”
With that Park Bom said, “In 2005, I heard that YG had wanted me, Sandara Park, and Goo Hye Sun to be in a 3-member group.” and Sandara Park who was just standing beside her nodded.
Goo Hye Sun said, “Really? How come I didn’t get to know this?” She gave a surprised look but continued, “It’s a good thing he didn’t. I’m not good at singing.”

2NE1’s activites to continue till the end of the year
2NE1’s fire has been burning non-stop ever since their debut. The group consisting of CL, Park Bom, Gong Min Ji and Sandara Park has been conquering charts over and over again since their hit song ‘Fire” was released in early May this year. With their second song “I Don’t Care” they have managed to clinch #1 at various music stations.
But this is not all. “I Don’t Care” has been dominating music charts, their first mini album containing 6 tracks too has been garnering a strong record in sales from July 15th – July 21st.
YG entertainment CEO Yang Hyeon Seok said the main reason for 2NE1’s success is their naturalness. “Many people feel that idol groups have an artificial pretense to them, but 2NE1 members are seen as friendly and down-to-earth. Their fashion and music connect people to them.” He added, ” 2NE1’s is very serious about their music; and when they go on stage, they shine brightly and give a powerful performance.”
Even after long hours of practice, the members of 2NE1 maintain their endless enthusiasm and vitality. It has been less than 3 months since their debut and 2NE1 is still considered as a rookie in the industry, thus have a long way to go . Yang hyeon seok said, ”There is still a need to improve, by giving 2NE1 more opportunities to perform on stage for them to gain experience.:
Nevertheless, he added, “2NE1’s promotional activities will be continued until the end of the year, so by that time of the year, 2NE1 would be able to put up strong performances and rise up to the top.”
2NE1 minialbum sold over 50K copies in just 2 weeks – big hit!
2NE1 has caused yet another topic after just having debuted for 2 months.
Their 1st minialbum released on 8th July has sold over 50K copies in just 2 weeks into its release as of 22nd July. And with the additional of 3oK copies as quoted by YG Entertainment, they had sold a total of 80K copies.
Not just that, the title song ‘I Don’t Care’ has taken the #1 position on music sites like Melon off from ‘NaengMyun’ the collaboration by So Nyeo Shi Dae Jessica and Park MyungSoo for Infinite Challenge special collaboraiton on 22nd July. The song is also #1 on various charts on Dosirak, Soribada and Mnet.
Other songs in the album like ‘Pretty boy’ ‘Let’s go party’ ‘In the club’ and ‘Stay together’ are also doing very well up on music charts.
YG Entertainment said, “Achieving this in just 2 weeks into the album release as a newcomer girlgroup – saying that it is like rewriting history for the girlgroups in Korea is not an overstatement.”
