The Warren Farm site will be developed into a full multi-purpose First Class Professional Elite Training Facility and Community Sports Complex, which will have state-of-the-art facilities that are second to none.
These facilities will be used by both our professional and academy footballers, as well as the community, and echo our ethos of being 'more than just a Football Club.'
The land will be designed for the Club's professional training requirements, which will be designed to the Premier Leagues Academy Category 1 and Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP), with a layout of natural and artificial training pitches and grids. These facilities will provide a platform for the development of local home grown talent and inspiration for the local community to aspire.
Community facilities will be developed with the equal exacting standards and high performance specification qualities, which meet with Sport England and National Governing Bodies standards. The community facilities and community development programme will be managed by QPR in the Community Trust.
We see this element of the proposal as a true partnership with the council, local sports clubs and wider community users.
The Community will have some of the best facilities for people of all ages and levels of ability to engage and participate in a wide variety of sports including football, rugby, cricket, basketball, tennis, netball and potentially hockey, with fully developed sporting programmes and activities with professionally qualified coaches, including input and appearances from professional players from QPR within their contracted voluntary and Community services.
Transport is a key issue for the site. There will be safe secure parking assessed to following transports assessment and planning requirements. There will be a shuttle bus service from strategic pick up points around Ealing at underground and rail stations.
The design will incorporate recommendations by Secured by Design, provide a secure base for public service and meet with the Council's Sports Strategy and increase public participation in sport with the delivery of professional sports and community development programmes. Car parking will be provided for staff and players, including cycle park and electric car charging.

Queens Park Rangers striker Jamie Mackie has signed a one-year extension to his contract.
The new deal means the Scotland international has committed to the club until the summer of 2015.
Mackie, 26, scored seven Barclays Premier League goals in Rangers' first season back in the top flight, including one in Sunday's dramatic 3-2 defeat at champions Manchester City.
"Next season could be a really big one for QPR"
- Jamie Mackie

Rangers preserved their status despite the loss and Mackie told QPR's website: "To be given the opportunity to extend my contract is fantastic for me.
"It's really exciting times for the club. Now we've stayed up, I think next season could be a really big one for QPR.
"To be a part of the long-term future of the club is an aim of mine and I'm really happy.
"Hopefully the manager can add even more quality to the squad in the summer to supplement what we've already got.
"With the new training ground too and the passion of the owners for the club, it's an amazing time for the football club."
Mackie joined QPR from Plymouth Argyle in May 2010 and scored nine goals in his first season before a double leg break ruled him out of the remainder of their promotion season in 2010/11.
"From day one, the fans have brilliant with me - especially when I broke my leg. They carried on supporting me all the way through that," he said.
"It meant a lot to me. Hopefully my performances since have gone a little way to paying them back for the support that they showed me."

R'S FLYING HIGH WITH AIRASIA                        Posted on: Fri 18 May 2012

Queens Park Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce that AirAsia have signed a new contract as our Official Playing Kit Sponsor and Main Club Partner.

The airline's logo will now appear on the R's home, away and third shirts for the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season.
AirAsia initially announced that the airline will be the Official away and third kit sponsor of QPR for the 2011/12 season. The relationship has developed and grown over the past season in the Premier League, and it was a natural progression to become the full kit sponsor.

QPR Marketing Director, Becky Grote, told www.qpr.co.uk: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with AirAsia for another season in the Premier League.
"Moving AirAsia onto all three of our playing kits allows them the maximum exposure to the growing worldwide football audience.
"We have great ambition for the growth of QPR in the Asian market, and AirAsia provide us with the perfect platform to raise awareness of the Club in new territories."
Kathleen Tan, Group Commercial Head of AirAsia, added: "QPR's achievement of securing their Premier League status mirrors our own hard work and challenges that we went through in making AirAsia the world's best low cost airline for three years in a row.
"We're proud to associate ourselves with QPR, a team with remarkable history in English football, whose unrelenting spirit reflects our own endeavour for success."
The new kits will be available in-store and online from July.
Created by Lotto's Research and Development Centre in close co-operation with QPR, the new Lotto home shirt stands out for its sleek and sober design with the traditional hoops in reflex blue and white.

The shirt has a fitted shape fit and is made of Poly Double Mesh 10, an extremely lightweight, breathable and elasticated fabric that ensures maximum comfort and the least amount of fatigue during play.

The shorts are all white with reflex blue details. As well as the Lotto logos on the side, the team shield stands out in a reduced size than on the shirt.

For the away matches Queens Park Rangers will wear an all red-and-white Lotto outfit featuring the same characteristics as the home kit.

Both shirts sport a V-shaped neck and mesh insert on the chest for perfect perspiration.

An independent Regulatory Commission has today (Wednesday 23 May 2012) dealt with two charges of violent conduct against Joey Barton, arising from the game against Manchester City, resulting in an eight-match suspension and £75,000 fine for the Queens Park Rangers midfielder.
This eight-match suspension is to run consecutively to the four-game suspension Barton was already given for his dismissal in the fixture, making a total of 12 matches.

QPR AGREE NELSEN DEAL
Posted on: Mon 18 Jun 2012

Queens Park Rangers Football Club can confirm it has reached agreement with defender Ryan Nelsen on an initial one-year deal.

The 34 year-old's contract will commence on July 1st following the conclusion of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

This is the second time Nelsen will have been signed by Mark Hughes, after the QPR Manager originally brought him to Blackburn Rovers in 2005.

Nelsen, who has made more than 170 Premier League appearances and will Captain New Zealand at this summer's London Olympics, told www.qpr.co.uk: "I am really pleased to be joining QPR.

"I have obviously got a lot of history with the Manager and that was a massive draw for me.

"I like his winning attitude. He and all his staff just have an absolute desire to win, and that's what the Premier League is all about.

"If you haven't got that, you won't be successful.

"The owners have got fantastic ambition and it's exciting to become a part of that. There's a real buzz about the place and it is a privilege to be here.

"I have got the Olympics coming up and that will be a good way for me to get prepared."

Hughes added: "I am delighted to bring Ryan to the Club. I know what he is all about and what he can offer us, both on and off the pitch.

"He hasn't played a lot of football in the past year or so but he is fit, raring to go, and looking forward to representing his country at the Olympics.

"Ryan has got great experience in the Premier League and that is something our squad is lacking a little bit at present.

"He's a fantastic professional with a great work ethic and it will benefit the younger lads in the group to see how he goes about his work."

*An exclusive interview with Nelsen is available now on QPR Player

AJ AGREES R'S DEAL                        Posted on: Mon 18 Jun 2012

Queens Park Rangers Football Club is pleased to announce it has reached agreement with striker Andrew Johnson on a two-year deal.
The 31 year-old's contract will commence on July 1st following the conclusion of his current deal with West London neighbours Fulham.
The move to Loftus Road will reunite 'AJ' with former Cottagers boss Mark Hughes, as well as R's front-man Bobby Zamora, whom he enjoyed such a profitable partnership with at Craven Cottage.
Johnson has a proven track record in English football, having netted a remarkable 147 goals in all competitions, scoring at a rate of one goal in every three appearances throughout his career.

Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, Johnson - who has eight England senior caps to his name - expressed his delight at joining the R's.
"I've worked closely with Mark before and there are also players here that I've played with previously, including Bobby Zamora and Shaun Derry," he said.
"Those were factors in me joining, but this is a big, big Club and I've spoken to the Chairman and Mark, who both have great ambition for QPR, and it's something that I wanted to be a part of."
Johnson added: "Mark was brilliant when I was at Fulham. I'd just come off the back of a rough spell with a knee injury and he guided and helped me through that period.
"He was great to play under. He's a top a Manager and has some fantastic staff around him.
"Being an ex-player, he knows what players want and expect. He's excellent with the players. He speaks to them and he's on the same level as them.
"He said it'd be great to team up again and that he was thrilled about the possibility of me joining QPR.
"He told me about the plans for a new training ground and how the Club wants to go forward. That really excited me."
