last 2nd step: 406/15 pi - 18 pi = 136/15 pi = 28.48 unit^3

第一題的答案是不是做到8 pi之後然後要除2?因為180 degree
书的答案是8 pi..第一题应该是书错吧？

这位同学，我做错了..

1)If the area enclosed by the curve y=x^2 and the line y=4 is revolvedthrough 180 degree about the y-axis,find the volume of the solid andgenerated by the revolution.

由于 y = x^2 在 y-axis 已经是两面了，
所以当题目叫我们转 180 度已经代表是转一圈了，所以答案 = 8 pi （不必除二）

真人，第一部分求的积分算错了，应该是

∫16x²-8x³+x^4 dx=406/15 π

所以当你减去18π ...

画的很浪费时间，不够有效率。
不过你画的那么好，证明你已经工多艺熟了。

我以前中学时，记得老师有说过有一种叫 GSP 的软件可以画 graph 的，
只要你输入 equation 就可以了，
但是我觉得不是很好咯，万一没有 equation 的 graph 呢？

所以我在大学一买了电脑就开始研究这些了，
缺点就是你认为的咯，万一很复杂的 graph 就蛮浪费时间的，
但是久了就驾轻就熟了啦..

Three letters from the word 'MYTH'are to be arranged. Calculate the number of possible arrangements if the letter Y must be included.

4P3-3P3=24-6
           =18

我不明白你的做法哦，我的方法如下：

Y __ __  : 1 x 3P2 or
__ Y __  : 1 x 3P2 or
__ __ Y  : 1 x 3P2

therefore: (3P2 x 1) x 3 = 18
