BigBang Against All Odds
Faced with a very sensitive issue, Gdragon together with his fans crossed the dimly lit street strongly.
Rumours spread about some commitments being cancelled; a lot has been disgruntled and worried on what the future of Bigbang would become. With so much love and support from the people around him, GD hasn’t stayed in the dark for too long.
As of October 5, 2011, Gdragon with other Bigbang members proceeded in shooting the TV Commercial of the global outdoor brand North Face. It was said that the previous reports about the cancellation of this CF were false. Due to Bigbang’s immense popularity, it is unlikely for the contract with North face to be subverted. According to a reliable source, other companies which Gdragon is committed did not take the issue severely since the indictment was suspended and he has not even seen being a habitual smoker.
To quote Choi Seunghyun’s statement during the MKMF 2008 awards night, “We (Bigbang) will live like a weed that perseveres through everything rather than a flower that withers away quickly.” Indeed, a very strong statement which Bigbang was able to embody through the years. A lot of controversies tried to stop the group from rising against the bizarre world of entertainment industry, yet up to now they stayed as tenacious as a weed.
YG Entertainment has been so lucky to have these five talented and dedicated individuals. They clearly showed that no one is stopping them in their race to worldwide fame.
With the fans backing them up, definitely, Bigbang is like a weed; that when cut ,will even spread wider.
