PROPOSED RENEWAL OF SHAREHOLDERS' MANDATE
MAH SING GROUP BERHAD ("MAH SING" OR "COMPANY"
I) PROPOSED RENEWAL OF SHAREHOLDERS' MANDATE FOR RECURRENT RELATED PARTY
TRANSACTIONS OF A REVENUE OR TRADING NATURE; AND
II) PROPOSED RENEWAL OF AUTHORITY FOR MAH SING TO PURCHASE UP TO TEN PERCENT
(10%) OF ITS ISSUED AND PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL PURSUANT TO SECTION 67A OF THE
COMPANIES ACT, 1965
(COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS "THE PROPOSALS"
The Board of Directors of Mah Sing wishes to announce that the Company is
proposing to seek the approval from its shareholders for the Proposals at its
forthcoming annual general meeting to be held on a date to be announced later.
A circular and share buy-back statement containing details of the Proposals
will be despatched together with the Annual Report 2007 to the shareholders of
the Company in due course.
This announcement is dated 23 May 2008.

馬星集團 首季淨利揚25%
（吉隆坡29日訊）馬星集團（MAHSING，8583，主板產業）今年首季受惠于更多產業計劃貢獻，營業額報1億4067萬令吉，淨利報2231萬令吉，按年勁揚25%。
今年首季，馬星集團共有9項產業計劃貢獻盈利，去年同期則為7項。
該公司董事經理兼總執行長拿督斯里梁海金在文告中指出，品牌發展商在優秀地點發展中高檔住宅及商業產業，將是今年的成長領域。
他說，馬星集團將提供優質住宅、黃金地點及適當價格，以參與該蓬勃領域。
文告也指出，估計在利率穩定及銀行流動性充沛下，公司今年將錄得強勁銷售。
馬星集團目前在黃金地點共有14項計劃，其中9項在巴生谷，4項在大馬依斯干達以及1項在檳城。
截至3月31日，該公司未進賬銷售達10億令吉，比去年營業額高1倍。
馬星集團旗下計劃總發展值（GDV）達40億令吉，可確保未來7年盈利前景。 |
