David de Gea looks to be staying at Manchester United after Real Madrid decided not to appeal to La Liga following the collapse of his move to the Bernabeu.

"That's it, the case is over. David de Gea will stay at Manchester United and Keylor Navas will be the goalkeeper for Real Madrid.

"They are not going to go any further because they realise by appealing to the league, there was no chance they were going to get what they wanted, which was for the deal to go through.

"There is no precedent for it. La Liga has been very strong from the beginning. From the beginning, they said they're not going to allow it to go through.

"The documents arrived at 00:28. Real Madrid decided not to appeal which means the case is closed."

Chelsea have completed the signing of Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji, according to the French club.

A Nantes statement said the Senegal international has signed a four-year contract with Chelsea, while Sky sources say the fee is ￡2.7m.

The 26-year-old, who was in the final year of his Nantes deal, is Chelsea's sixth signing of the transfer window.

8，曼联录入德赫亚的转会数据资料，并没有涉及纳瓦斯，此时时间是9月1日的00:00。与此同时，曼联将转会合同文本发给皇马。皇马收到全部文件时，已经是0点02分，此时西班牙的转会窗口已经关闭。
9，0点26分，FIFA转会的电脑录入系统，表态让皇马将德赫亚的文件数据录入，因为英格兰的转会窗并未关闭。皇马将合同提交给西班牙职业联盟，尽管，皇马已经知道西班牙的转会窗已经关闭。
10，总而言之，皇马已经做了所有的努力，竭尽所能的希望两笔转会能完成。

Here is how the David de Gea transfer saga played out, according to Real Madrid.

1. Man Utd agreed to start negotiations yesterday.

2. Real Madrid initiated conversation.

3. Man Utd would only do deal if it included Navas.

4. Both clubs agree deal & Madrid send documents to Man Utd at 12.39pm.

5. United replied at 8.39pm asking for some changes which Madrid agree to immediately.

6. Madrid send contracts to Man Utd at 10.32pm & wait for Man Utd to send them back signed.

7. Man Utd agree deal with Navas at 10.53pm and then contract sent to Navas to sign.

8. Man Utd logged in on TMS to log details of De Gea deal, not Navas at 11pm, deadline point in Spain and simultaneously send contracts to Madrid. Madrid receive documents at 11.02pm and tries to access TMS but is closed down

9. 11.26pm TMS invites Madrid to introduced details of De Gea because the transfer deadline is next day. Madrid, in case there was room to get done, decide to send contracts to league even though they know deadline has passed.

10. Madrid have done everything they could at all times for deal to take place.
