For Mercury buyer. The Sales manager just called me a while ago. She confirmed that the management after reviwing our feedback, has confirmed to make the following amendments:

1. to flatten the common area at 2nd floor;

2. To lower the railing height at master bedroom and also the other 2 bedrooms.

I am quite happy as the above two issues can not be altered through ID.

The manager said washing machine can place into the kitchen, no problem, she said the yard is too small to put washing machine. No strength to argue with her. Anyway, we can change it during renovation. As for the vanity top, she said our sink is bigger, so there is no space to install vanity top. Also rubbish, but one look again, the vanity top look ugly. We can do our nice VT. The main door she said is very good already compared to the other previous project. I then replied, what about compare to phase one. She kept quiet.

Giantree,  think why Setia willing to change these two items?

1. to create one more step at common room is then ugly and creates safety hazard. By flatten it,  can save labour cost to make the stupid steps;

2. To lower the railing height. Why not, save a lot of the steel material.

As for other items, save your breath, it involve cost.

i continue to argue with them. in fakt, they now ignore me make don't know.
so i am try complane to senior manager.
if no action, i will bring to director of south sales.
i pay much money. i expect more. sxtia sell the house at high price (100k more money), cannot give us a few hundred dollar of vanity top. rubbish!!

Giantree, I bought end lot. Setia is now preparing the revised S&P, once is ready, they will call me to sign. So, I think they had set their mind. Yesterday I did ask the sale mananger to give me a few pieces of extra tiles of bath 4 because I am going to put the washing machine there, but she rejected. She said she can give me the supplier contact number and we must buy ourselves. Giantree, if you really want to fight the case, I think you should consult lawyer and get many buyers to participate. I think Setia mislead us to buy. If this happened in Singapore, the developer shall die. Please PM me if you want to do anything. My opinnion you should not see them alone, wasting your effort.
In the other hand, I think we should focus more of our management committee. Once the project is ready to handover, the owners have to manage themself, no need to wait for one year. How sucessful of Aurora will depend on the ability of owner's committee. No point you have nice house inside but outside look run down. And don't forget the maintenance fee is about RM 500, will all the owner pay? So, the owner's committee is very important.

i learn before if complane right person and complane right thing, they will scare. they scare lose future sale. now have ecowold big competiter.

also, why have "revise" S&P. for what? if the case of make the change, then they must to call every owner sign again?

also, cahngerailing and step, the spec is no in the s&p. so why sign again?

and also.. can tell you. no use get lawyer. for wat? the plan alredy have when we sign s&p. setia never cheat us. lawyer no use.

but we may threaten to spread bad news about them. i can tell you, sales people realli don't like existing customer to spread bad news. trust me.

that's nright. better than none. even yes our house is 'cheaper' house, why sxtia must give us ;less one vanity top.. funny design. if like that, we can tell everyone, next time go buy ecowold. or UEM sunrise.. plentitude, glenmarry. if enough people make noise. they sure listen.
