Jurgen Klopp's assistant Zeljko Buvac to start new Liverpool role after being granted work permit
Jurgen Klopp 's right-hand man Zeljko Buvac has been granted a work permit to take up his new role as Liverpool 's assistant boss.
Mirror Sport reported last night that there were concerns Buvac's paperwork would not be sorted in time for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Tottenham. However, the experienced Bosnian coach will oversee training for the first time at Melwood on Wednesday afternoon after flying in to Merseyside. Buvac’s arrival had been delayed due to red tape but that has now been sorted and he will be on the touchline at White Hart Lane. Having the 54-year-old on board will be a significant boost for Klopp, who has been overseeing training since Monday with Peter Krawietz and Pep Lijnders.
