An open letter to all 2,000 Ideal Property TriState (1st Edition) registered riders.
Greetings everyone and let us extend our heartiest congratulations to all of you for selecting a grueling, yet meaningful CFAL (Campaign For A Lane) event to usher in a brand new 2015 cycling year on 4th January, 2015.
Are you all ready for the 138km Penang, Kedah and Perak, TriState ride in a month's time? Or, are you all still struggling to clock in the much required mileage before the BIG day? The ride recce report previously posted by our Chairman, Dr Lim, was not intended to dishearten all of you but aimed at assisting you to prepare both mentally and physically for the event.
We, the organizing committee, are eagerly waiting to see the cycling prowess and strategies you will employ to complete the route, in STYLE!
To make you all look really COOL as well as a PRO, we have exclusively designed an Event Jersey (Compulsory) with matching Arm Warmers, coupled with Riding Numbers (Compulsory) which needs to be pasted on your helmet and seat-post. You, on the other hand, just need to pick your sunglasses, bibs/shorts, and not to forget to have your legs cleanly shaven. Most importantly, you need to observe group ride etiquette and adhere strictly to our cut-off time.
We are also very pleased to announce that besides the experienced PDRM marshals, we somehow managed to budget the inclusion of the much sought after Tour de Langkawi Superbike Marshalls to man the roads as your SAFETY is our number 1 priority! The sheer number of riders dressed in our event jerseys will make all of you the STAR attraction on the road. It will be an event to remember for all participants!
Goodies are also in abundance. Besides the exclusive "Ideal Property" event jersey, the striking and imposing helmet riding number sticker, the arm warmers by Infineon, Blackmores, Skins, Bryton, Howei, and Naroo Mask; you will also receive a premium "go stronger" tape from Rocktape, a bottle of sunscreen from Sunplay, a copy of the popular "Cycling Malaysia" magazine, a recycled bag from the KHS bike shop, a weather proof KT Cycle Seat-Post riding number, and an informative event booklet. At the finishing line, a hard earned 100% pewter medal by our chief designer, Eng Cheong, will be right there waiting for you together with a simple buffet lunch.
Along the 138 km route, we welcome the team of 100 Plus, Red Bull ,Incomix, mytriathlonshop, and Salonpas sponsors to quench your thirst and provide relief to aches and pains in order for you to achieve your maximum potential. A group of professional paparazzi will be out there to snap your shots and make this a very memorable and unforgettable experience for all of you.
