语法不对。不要随便加字，这样即使语法正确，意思也改变了。

stuff 是不可数的名词，所以 there is

thing 意思类似，但是可数名词，所以可分 a thing 或 things。

stuff 是；staff 不是。

另外，stuff 和 staff 两者的发音不一样。

‘Staff’ （职员）是一个[集合名词/Collective Noun/Group Noun]
Staff 是指公司里的全体职员。
有英式及美式英语的分别
Staff 在美式英语是当做单数名词使用，如 The staff is...; The staff has...
美式英语里比较少用到这个词。
Staff 在英式英语可以是单数（考虑的是包括全体职员的一个整体/单位），也可以是复数（考虑的是公司的那些职员）


例句：
The staff are not very happy about the latest pay increase. (Cambridge)
There are over a hundred staff in the company. (Cambridge)
The entire staff has done an outstanding job this year. (Longman)
Our department has a staff of seven. (Longman)
The staff were very helpful. (Longman)
They employ a total of 150 staff. (Longman)


如果要说一个职员，不可以说 a staff，
可以说 a member of staff，或者 an employee
