Yeah, I came across a listening practice tape two or three years ago, by listening to it I realised that Chantonese has the highest chance becoming the most comman language world wide, replacing English which replaced Latin.

you'll probably head to the wrong path if you translate whatever you're trying to tell from chinese to english..
for example, [it's only you and me] versus [it's you and me only]

Yeah, it costs a lot to get a car in Malaysia.
In Thailand, a Mercedes Benz is about 1 million Baht (about RM 100 thousand), but in Malaysia it is RM 3000 thousand! The rest of the RM 200 thousand is more than enough to buy petrol for at least 5 years!

Many Americans in my school also learn this language.
Chinese is popular here. Starting from next semester, two Chinese courses will be offered in my school.

i go back once/twice per year.well.... abt my accent. hm. i grew up speakin english actually (even tho that doesnt necessarily mean anythin)
i guess it's easy for me to pick up a new language / accent

anyhow..been here for 3 years. and i mix with ppl frm diff backgrounds a lot. maybe that's why

Up to twice per year.That's heaps good.How long will your vacation normally be?Miss chinese new year huh? I'll usually have up to three months holiday in malaysia before returning to aussie.

I used to speak english with my mama and my younger brother when I was back in the good old days, but it started to change after I got into chinese primary school, mixing with chinese speaking classmates made me got used to speaking chinese[used to speakING;hope that I aint wrong]..so I guess that's ciao to spoken english..

Just for your informationg, I am still yet to hold a degree(Electrical & Mechatronic Engineering) *sob*
