亞航長程
獲國內外銀行融資27億
(吉隆坡6日訊)亞航長程(AirAsia X)獲數歐洲銀行及1家本地銀行融資購買4架、總定價達7億6600萬美元(約27億令吉)的客機。這4架客機,也是25架空中巴士(Airbus)訂單中的4架。
亞航長程總執行長阿茲蘭奧斯曼透露,相關銀行上月同意,提供4架客機的80%融資。
“我們很高興獲得融資,我們所付的淨(貸款)利率,事實上沒有比1年前高很多。”
他指出,上述銀行貸款為期12年。
由于銀行限制放款給部分航空公司,波音公司(Boeing)及空中巴士早前指出,計劃在明年自行提供客戶融資。
業者消息指出,受銀行緊縮銀根影響,波音及空中巴士明年或有200架新飛機沒有買主。
另外,除了上述4架客機,阿茲蘭透露,已展開洽談,為余下21架已訂購的空中巴士尋找融資。
除了現有往來吉隆坡至澳洲及中國的長途航線,亞航長程也計劃在明年初,推出英國航線。
阿茲蘭說,亞航長程或在2011年,尋求現有股東融資或透過售股籌資。
該公司原有意在2010年,透過首發股計劃從資本市場籌資。 |

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 — AirAsia and AirAsia X will do away with the fuel surcharge from today in response to falling oil prices.
To further boost sales amid the global financial crisis, Air Asia will also be offering 500,000 free tickets for its destinations from midnight.

抵消不收附加費影響
亞航展望更高載客率
(吉隆坡11日訊)亞洲航空(AIRASIA,5099,主板貿易)希望,藉更高需求及載客率,抵消取消燃油附加費后的影響。
亞航總執行長拿督斯里東尼費南德斯坦言,更高載客率是抵銷較低收入衝擊的關鍵。
他說,經濟衰退跡象甫顯現,許多航空公司削減成本並陸續減少航線等。
惟亞航採取逆向策略,不但未減少航線,反而不斷增加新航線,積極擴充飛行網絡。
“我們必須透過更低飛行成本來鼓勵人們旅遊,讓需求持續成長,亞航才能增加額外20%航線,繼續擴展業務版圖。”
詢及取消燃油加費會否打擊公司淨利時,東尼回應說:“我不能保證。”
他指出,透過其他服務和產品如機艙內飲食品等額外進賬,有信心可抵銷相關影響。
亞航將在本月底,宣佈截至9月底第3季財報。
不減行李費
詢及油價若重返100美元以上水平,亞航是否將重新徵收燃油加費時,東尼指出,亞航除了燃油附加費,仍有其他創新收入來源。
他透露,取消燃油附加費后,亞航每名乘客平均少了47令吉進賬。
“燃油附加費是最容易徵收的費用,也是打擊業務的禍首,這不是我們想要做的。”
此外,亞航不會因為油價下滑而取消行李托運費。
東尼指出,徵收行李托運費是為了支付行李處理開銷,和油價高低無正面關係。
“其次,我們鼓勵乘客輕裝出遊,飛機乘載的行李越少、機身越輕,所耗燃油將更少。”
他說,行李輕重也和環保課題息息相關,因減少飛機負荷量可減少排氣。
購票反應佳
今年乘客人次2000萬
亞航首半年載客率維持在75%左右,12月預先購票(forward booking)已售出超過70%,明年1月購票反應亦不俗。
東尼說,油價下滑意味成本下跌,即使亞航沒有額外營業額進賬,但燃油下跌,卻能抵銷燃油附加費所造成的營業額損失。
他指出,部分航空公司因為避險政策而固定燃油價格,但亞航沒有任何護盤,因此不受影響。
“預計今年將載送2000萬名乘客人次。”
另外,東尼透露,未來3個月將推出或增加5個航班,包括開啟3個新航線,飛往孟加拉、印度及澳洲墨爾本。
他透露,未來數月或推出多項創、有助增加收入來源的新服務。
油價仍橫擺
維持零護盤
油價走勢依然橫擺,亞航現階段無意為飛機燃油護盤。
詢及國際油價下跌,亞航是否將重啟避險政策時,東尼笑言:“亞航目前是零護盤,從現在到無限期。”
但他強調並非棄用避險政策,只是目前不是避險的適當時機。
“我們還是會採取護盤措施,但經濟衰退才剛開始,燃油價格波動依然劇烈。”
他說,市場投機活動猶存,為燃油護盤是項危險的遊戲,因此現階段最好是明哲保身、不要護盤。
另外,亞航副總執行長拿督卡瑪魯丁透露,亞航在油價漲至每桶110美元(約390.28令吉)時,即不再履約。
他指出,亞航數月前開始針對去年的避險政策,以每桶77至80美元左右的價位,買回15萬桶燃油。
每名乘客少RM47
1年潛在損失3.5億
分析員預測,亞航取消燃油附加費后,1年內的潛在損失或介于3.5億令吉,加上其他業務進賬,業績衝擊並不大。
亞航取消燃油附加費后,每名乘客平均少了47令吉入賬;若以今年2000萬總載客人次預測計算,亞航1年估計損失9.4億令吉。
亞歐美證券研究一名分析員回應《中國報》提問說,在馬股市掛牌交易的亞航(即大馬亞航),全年乘客人次料介于900萬至1000萬人次,其余人次來自區域子公司如印尼亞航及泰國亞航。
他指出,以1000萬人次計算,大馬亞航最多沒有4.7億令吉進賬。
而且,假設平均載客率為75%,亞航潛在燃油附加費損失約3億5250萬令吉。
“亞航國內航線燃油附加費不高,而且不乏其他營業額來源,包括行政費及保險等。”
僑豐投資研究分析員吳保雲估計,亞航或因此損失3.6億令吉。
積極擴市場
他認為,亞航取消燃油附加費,明顯正積極擴大市場分額。
亞歐美證券研究分析員則認為,國際油價下滑、全球經濟前景黯淡,加上競爭對手連串機票促銷,亞航必須作出回應,取消燃油附加費為預料中事。
“最大關鍵是全球國內生產總值趨于跌勢,航空業者勢將首當其衝。”
他指出,取消燃油附加費或是亞航行銷策略,除了刺激飛行需求及維持載客率,也避免消費者轉投競爭對手懷抱。
“亞航增加20%航班,意味額外機票銷量或達20%,這也能抵銷部分衝擊。” |

(吉隆坡)亞洲航空(AIRASIA,5099,主板貿服組)隨國際原油滑落而撤銷燃油附加費,分析員認為,這是一項拓展市佔率的潛力策略,惟鑒於經濟走緩陰影籠罩,前景保持謹慎。
僑豐研究指出,亞航雖可藉早前購入的回沽合約抵銷衝擊,惟經濟前景每況愈下,仍下調其回酬和載客率預測。
不過,燃油價格繼續走低將惠及亞航,分析員上調其評級至“中和”。
僑豐預計,取消燃油附加費之舉,料為亞航攫獲更多市佔率,並充份使用其迅速拓展的艦隊陣容。
在燃油價持續滑退下,以1200萬名乘客和各領域平均30令吉計算,亞航營收或減少3億6000萬令吉。
礙於惡化的宏觀經濟前景,僑豐下調燃油預測,從08和09年的134和120美元,下修至124和82美元。
分析員也下調08年的回酬率,由7%降至4%;09年則由1%成長預測轉為萎縮6.5%。
兩年的載客率預測,由73%和74%下調至71%和70%。
不過,隨油價放緩,上調亞航今年的核心扣稅前盈利15%,明年的數據則維持不變。由於亞航1令吉12仙的股價已回到合理價值,僑豐上調至中和評級,目標價為1令吉11仙。
目前亞航西馬內飛行的燃油附加費為單程22令吉,東西馬間則單程50令吉,飛機燃油現已跌至80美元每桶,為去年4月起的首次,當時亞航西馬和東西馬的燃油附加費分別為15令吉和40令吉。 |

飞机燃油若每桶70美元 亚航明年盈利可提高8%
(吉隆坡12日讯) 亚洲航空(AirAsia,5099,主板贸服股)宣布撤消所有航线的燃油附加费,券商透露油价成本下跌可填补当中的营业额损失,当飞机燃油成本达每桶70美元之际,2009年的盈利可提高8%。
公司总执行长拿督斯里东尼费南德斯昨日说:“公司将取消所有飞机的附加费,以吸引旅客乘搭飞机。”
益资利投资研究分析员说,燃油附加费虽然导致营业额减少,但从中的亏损却能从偏低的燃油成本中获得弥补。
“根据我们每桶飞机燃油达70美元的成本计算,2009年的盈利将提高8%,但2010年却下滑13%。”
但该行仍然维持评级不变,管理层对机票定价及买入燃油的政策,是重新评级的因素。
拉昔胡申投资研究指出,取消燃油附加费将导致每公里可用坐位的营业额走低,但这损失可因飞机燃油价格走低所抵消,该行因此维持盈利预测不变。
但分析员提出,公司面对的潜在风险包括:一)全球经济的下跌情况高于预期,导致航空业受影响;二)燃油价格回弹。
该行也说目前对航空业转为“乐观”仍言之过早,需求减低、业者间的激烈竞争都会压缩回酬,该行因此对亚航开出“低于大市”的评级。 |

AirAsia X set to make profits next year: CEO
TOULOUSE (France): Long-haul budget carrier AirAsia X Sdn Bhd,which has well over RM300 million cash in hand, is set to turn inprofits next year, says its chief executive officer Azran Osman-Rani.
“Probably within three to four months from operating our newplanes, we will be profitable. With new planes, more passengers willfly,” Azran said.
“Most important is cash flow and this is how we convince ourfinanciers. We have been cash positive since April 2008,” he said onboard AirAsia X's brand new Airbus A330 aircraft on its ferry (first)flight from Toulouse to Kuala Lumpur recently.
On October 31, AirAsia X took delivery of its first new A330-300costing US$200 million (RM704 million), which is for its long-hauloperation, linking Kuala Lumpur with destinations in Australia, NorthAsia, the Middle East and Europe, complementing the existing AirAsianetwork.
Launched in January 2007, the affiliate of low-cost AirAsia Bhd earlier this year placed an order for 25 Airbus A330 aircraft.
Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines, the carrier's new A330can seat 383 passengers in a two-class layout, with 355 in economy and28 in the airline's new XL premium class. It is also equipped with thelatest in-flight entertainment systems by Thales of UK.
Azran said the airline is also looking at local and foreign fundsto finance the purchase of its 25 A330 planes, estimated at US$5billion (RM17.6 billion). So far, financing for the first few planeshad been secured.
Besides its positive cash flow, he said AirAsia's branding helpedthe long-haul airline to seek funds in markets which were already badlyhit by the credit crunch.
“When we presented to financial institutions in August, we werevery fortunate because financiers in Europe had confidence in ourbrand. We had AirAsia,” he said.
“End of August I was still in London. I was trying to convince thefinanciers. So much details you have to work through. Normally withaircraft financing you have to settle everything at least six weeksbefore delivery. We settled everything three and a half hours beforetake-off,” he said.
“October 2008 will always be remembered when the (stock) marketcrashed. The timing couldn't have been worse. Nobody was supposed tolend. Nature of banks is that they only make money when they lend athigher rates. If you (banks) don't lend, you don't make money.”
Despite reports of a global decline in passenger traffic, he saidthe carrier was still experiencing a strong forward bookings fromNovember to March.
Azran said the second A330 will be delivered in mid-December,followed by three each in 2009 and 2010. The remaining planes areslotted for delivery up to 2013.
“With three planes next year, we can add five destinations. Wehope to fly to Japan, Korea, China, India and at least one moresomewhere else,” he said.
Azran said the carrier was on track to start its new flights toLondon in March. For its London flights, AirAsia X is in talks withthree airports — Stansted, Manchester and East Midlands.
“We have made all applications and everything looks positive. Hope to announce our sales launch in a months time.
“UK will be exciting as so many people are waiting for it...students, families, friends. To me, what's exciting is not just UK, Iam interested in getting new markets,” he said. - Bernama

AirAsia may fly to Uzbekistan: Malaysia PM
TASHKENT (Uzbekistan): Low-cost carrier AirAsia may fly to Uzbekistan in a move to establish air links between the two countries.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said he hadinformed AirAsia group chief executive officer Tony Fernandes on thematter and the latter had agreed to study it as soon as possible.
“Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov wanted us to establish airlinkages and I think AirAsia could play that role as it is a low-costcarrier,” Abdullah who is on a four-day official visit to this countrytold Malaysian journalist, here.
At the moment, Uzbekistan Airways flies twice a week to Malaysiaand vice-versa while Malaysian Airlines cooperated with the airlinethrough code-sharing basis. - Bernama |

AirAsia gains most in 2 months
AIRASIA Bhd, Southeast Asia’s largest discount airline, climbed themost in two months on the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange after saying itslargest shareholder is still considering buying out the carrier.
AirAsia, based outside Kuala Lumpur, gained 2.7 per cent to RM1.16 at10:59 am, set for the biggest advance since September 12. The sharesearlier rose 4.4 per cent.
Tune Air Sdn Bhd, whose backersinclude AirAsia chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes, saidyesterday it continues to pursue a plan to take the airline private.
Withthe global economy entering a recession and Malaysia’s governmentforecasting the slowest growth in eight years in 2009, the proposalcould meet challenges, said analyst Juliana Ramli.
“There are major hurdles to a privatization - theincrease in debt, the weaker economic outlook and the tightening creditconditions,” Ramli, a Hwang-DBS Vickers Research analyst, said byphone. She has a “fully valued” rating on AirAsia.
Tune Air is still in talks with financial institutions and potentialinvestors to fund a buyout, AirAsia said in a statement yesterday afterthe stock exchange closed. Tune Air owns about 31 per cent of AirAsia,according to Bloomberg data.
AirAsia said on October 7 that the“indicative” price for a potential buyout was RM1.35 for each share.AirAsia stock that day closed at RM1.27.
The potential offer is “still quite low,” even compared to today’s prices, said Ramli at Hwang-DBS.

上個月,亞航回應市場傳聞,指大股東將持續探討各項選擇,以充分發揮及擴張亞航營運,同時明言不排除私有化的可能,指標價格為每股約1.35令吉。 |

未必会很好,别忘了它的债务是以美元来计算的,当时美元是升值,所以forex loss可能会很高,抵消了油价的回落... |

说要私有化。。应该只是想不花本钱来扶持股价。。。
季度报告要出了才说私有化。。。 应该是报告不好看。。怕投资者抛售。。
不过投资了亚航的人应该有不少是长期的吧。。。收购价太低应该没人要卖 |
