Showdown of the girlgroups – 2NE1 and 4Minute to perform for the 1st time on Mnet M!Countdown on 18th June
Newcomer girl groups 2NE1 and 4Minute will come together for the 1st ‘confrontation’ coming 18th June.
They will be performing on Mnet M!Countdown coming 18th June, both 1st time on this music show for the 2 groups. It will be 2NE1’s first performance on this show since debut and will be the debut stage for group 4Minute.
YG Entertainment said on the 16th via phone interview, “We have decided for the girls to perform on M!Countdown coming 18th. But for the music shows this weekend, we have not yet decided about it.” All this while the girls have been performing just once a week to focus on the quality of their performance. Whether they will perform more than twice this week has not been confirmed
While 4Minute will also have their debut stage performing ‘Hot Issue’ on M!Countdown. They were also the top searched keywords on portal sites after their song was revealed yesterday.

2NE1 signs on o.1 billion KRW worth advertising contract with sports brand FILA
Newcomer group 2NE1 is not only rising in the Kpop world but also rising up in the CF world.
The group got their 1st Mutizen award in just 1 month after their debut with their debut song ‘Fire’, and even before debut they had already caused a huge topic with their CM song ‘Lollipop’. Not only so, they also won 3 awards at the recent 34th and 35th CyWorld Digital Music Awards.
Currently signed as LG CYON Lollipop phone model, 2NE1 has also signed to be the model for sports brand FILA. Although it is surprising that newcomer get signed on as models for brands, it will have to be an exceptional case for this group.
