不好意思，問個題外話，馬航有沒有檳城直飛台北的班級？除了華航，還有哪個航空有檳城直飛台北？

Eighth operator of world's largest and most eco-efficient aircraft

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has taken delivery of its first A380, becoming the eighth operator of the world’s largest and most eco-efficient airliner. The aircraft was handed over to MAS Group Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Jauhari Yahya by Airbus Chief Operating Officer Fabrice Brégier in Toulouse today.

Malaysia Airlines has ordered six A380s. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines, the aircraft feature a premium three class layout, with accommodation for a total of 494 passengers. Features include fully flat beds in First and Business Class, plus new wider seats in Economy. Seats in all classes are equipped with the latest individual in-flight entertainment systems, USB ports and satellite telephone facilities.

“The A380 showcases our latest premium offering in products and services. This will be our flagship aircraft, offering new levels of comfort, luxury and convenience for long haul travel,” said Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, MAS Group Chief Executive Officer. “With the A380 in our fleet, MAS will reinforce its position as one of the world’s preferred premium carriers bringing great Malaysian Hospitality to our customers.”

Since first entering service in 2007, the A380 has exceeded all expectations, flying more people further at lower cost, while significantly reducing carbon emissions. The spacious, quiet cabin and smooth ride have also made the A380 a firm favourite with passengers, resulting in higher load factors and increased profitability on all routes where the aircraft is operated.

Typically seating 525 passengers in a three class layout, the A380 is capable of flying 8,300 nautical miles or 15,300 kilometres. This enables non-stop service with a full payload from Kuala Lumpur to any destination in Europe or one-stop service to major destinations in the US.

新航A380飛機在起飛20分鐘後，緊急折返降落樟宜機場。

受影響乘客轉搭另一趟飛機飛香港，延誤了3小時。

（新加坡19日訊）新航一架A380飛機，今早從新加坡飛往香港，卻在起飛20分鐘後，引擎發生故障，緊急折返降陸樟宜機場。

據瞭解，出事的是新航A380SQ856班機，當時機上有220乘客和機組人員。

玲子傳媒董事經理林得楠是飛機上其中一名乘客，他今早通過電話受訪時說，他和太太是在今早9時30分搭飛機，要到香港參觀書展。不料，飛機起飛約20分鐘後突然廣播，指飛機出現狀況，需要緊急折返。

“當時機上的人聽了廣播後，都表現得很冷靜，沒有任何混亂場面。”

林得楠說，飛機安全降落在樟宜機場後，機上再次廣播，解釋是班機的引擎出現故障，所有乘客必須轉搭另一趟班機。

他說，機上所有乘客有條不紊地下機，沒有出現恐慌情況，而在等候再度登機時，他們被安排去吃早餐。

另一名同機乘客洪先生受訪時說，出事後，機組人員反應迅速，馬上做出安排，他們在廣播中，聽起來很冷靜，讓乘客放心。

發信向乘客道歉

新航發言人受詢時證實這起事故，表示SQ856班機的1號引擎控制系統出現故障，導致飛機必須折返。

新航過後也發信給所有乘客道歉，同時表示針對引擎發生故障的原因，正在調查中。

Malaysia Airlines Takes Delivery Of Its Third Airbus A380

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 15 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines' third Airbus A380 aircraft arrived in KL International Airport (KLIA) at 9.35am today.

The aircraft, which was ferried from Toulouse, France will undergo final preparations in KLIA for commercial flight operations.

The national carrier will also receive its fourth A380 by end of this week, it said in a statement here today.

Malaysia Airlines will use these two 494-seater aircraft to commence day-time flights from KLIA to London Heathrow effective November 24, 2012.

Flight MH4 will depart KLIA at 10.45am daily to arrive London Heathrow the same day at 4.15pm.

The return flight MH1 departs London daily at 10.00pm and arrives KLIA the next day at 6.20pm.

This day service will complement Malaysia Airlines' current daily A380 night service to the UK capital, where MH 2 departs KLIA at 11.40pm and arrives in London at 5.50am the following day with the return flight MH3 departing London at 12.00 noon and arriving KLIA at 7.25am the next day.

With the introduction of the double daily A380 services effective  November 24, 2012, Malaysia Airlines will cease the 359-seater B747-400 flight operations between KLIA and London.

The double daily A380 operations by Malaysia Airlines, the only full service carrier to offer direct services between Malaysia and the UK, will also improve weekly seat capacity by 37 per cent in both directions of the KLIA-London Heathrow route, the national carrier said.

The A380 services will offer 6916 seats weekly compared to 5026 seats offered through the earlier double daily B747-400 operations, allowing more passengers to  travel on the latest super jumbo aircraft.

Malaysia Airlines is the eighth operator of this new aircraft and will receive its remaining two A380 by the first quarter of 2013.
