马航机翼引擎着火迫降　槟险空难         二零一零年三月二十五日 下午五时四十二分
        
                        
（槟岛西南区25日讯）一架从新加坡飞往槟城的马航班机，疑右翼引擎着火冒烟，于周四中午被迫在槟城国际机场紧急降落，83名乘客安然无恙。
有关航班为MH674-B737，班机上共有83名乘客和7名机组人员及机师，飞机紧急降落后，所有人安然无恙。据记者在机场所见，事发后，机场操作一切正常，并没受到影响。
据了解，事后，飞机爆炸的谣言满天飞，后经过记者向马来西亚机场有限公司高级经理阿都华合的求证，证实疑只是右引擎着火冒烟，并非如外传的飞机爆炸事件。
阿都华合：跑道暂关闭20分钟
马来西亚机场有限公司（槟城机场）高级经理阿都华合表示，该架班机在准备降落时，被发现后部机翼突冒烟，为了安全起见，有关方面宣布紧急降陆。
他指出，该班机于中午12时30分安全降落在机场跑道上。经查证后，怀疑是右翼引擎起火。
他说，机场跑道暂关闭20分钟，以便将飞机拖往停机坪内。机场跑道较后于中午12时50分重开。
曼梳：要求机场提呈报告
槟州第一副首长曼梳于下午1时15分在机场接见台湾代表团时，向记者表示，他将要求机场提呈一份报告，以了解事发经过。他指出，渔船翻覆也要一份报告，更何况是飞机事故。
艾迪：当没事发生  避免乘客恐慌
其中一名来自澳门受影响的乘客艾迪（45岁，消防员）在机场接受媒体访问时说，右翼引擎起火地方即是他的座位旁，当班机降落时，相信是引擎部份，突然发出“砰、砰、砰”的巨声，他望出窗外时，看见机翼冒烟。
当时，他保持坚定，当作没事发生，毕竟机师也没有作出什么报告，他连坐在身旁的妻子潭雅（26岁）也不通知，避免制造乘客们不安情绪。
他说，右翼冒烟后，飞机又再次飞起，并没有继续降落，当时也继续发出“砰、砰、砰”的巨声，最后，机师又再次试著降落。
他继说，当班机成功降落后，机师才通过播放机吁请乘客们不必慌张，班机已安全降落了。
询及他当时的心情，他认为没有什么好担心，因为机师们表现得很专业，在很短的时间即把问题解决并安全降落，大家安然无恙。
他也不会因为这一次的飞机事故，不敢再搭飞机，毕竟他常常偕同妻子乘飞机出国游玩。这次是他第二次来槟游玩，他们是从新加坡飞抵槟，再转机到浮罗交怡。
艾伦：觉得很有趣
另一名乘客艾伦（59岁，保险经理），他也坐在右翼附近座位，当时，他也听到“砰、砰、砰”声，不过，他也不担心，毕竟最后也成功降落。
“只是如今想起，觉得很有趣，也是难得经验”。
汤姆斯夫妇：以为撞到石头
来自英国的汤姆斯夫妇接受媒体访问时指出，他们这趟来马主要是前往浮罗交怡游玩，并于周三抵达新加坡；周四再从新加坡飞来槟城，再从槟城转机去浮罗交怡。
汤姆斯说，他们是坐在飞机左边。当飞机快要降陆时，突然听到一声巨响，飞机降落在跑道上时一度震荡，他还以为撞到了石头，较后才获悉机翼出了意外。
汤姆斯夫人也说，当时已经接近抵达机场，飞机降落在跑道上后，然后又突然再上升，整个事发过程接近10分钟。
她说，如果没有意外的发生，大约1时30分，他们就会抵达浮罗交怡，不过，他们被告知将会于傍晚6时再转机去浮罗交怡。
逃过生死关头，汤姆斯仍心有余悸，不过汤姆斯夫人却开玩笑说很有趣，也不断赞扬机师的机智，使到全部乘客平安无事，安全降落。

Jetstar Asia to launch long-haul flights in end-2010 with first A330

Low-cost carrier Jetstar Asia will receive its first Airbus A330 by year-end, and plans to launch long-haul flights from Singapore before Christmas. It is in talks with several authorities and airports in north Asia, Australia and Europe to secure rights to fly there, says Jetstar Asia's CEO Chong Phit Lian.

The airline, which operates nine A320s, expects to receive its first A330 in December and a second A330 in the first quarter of 2011, she adds. "The two aircraft will give us an additional 400,000 seats per year out of Singapore," says Chong. The aircraft will be leased by Jetstar's parent Qantas Airways, which said last year that it planned to allocate some A330s to Jetstar.

Chong says Jetstar Asia is in talks with authorities and airports to secure landing rights and slots for flights, and adds that these will be firmed up in "the coming weeks". On the list of potential destinations is Tokyo Narita, which Jetstar Asia has already secured rights for. The carrier is also considering destinations in China, Korea, France, Italy and Greece, says Chong. "We are looking at Rome and Athens, but with the situation in Greece at the moment, it might not be feasible," she adds, referring to the ongoing debt crisis in Greece.

A Jetstar spokesman says the carrier will likely launch double daily flights from Singapore with the A330s to two destinations. "There is a relatively high utilisation rate with the A330s, which can fly up to 16 hours a day," he says.

Jetstar had announced in January that it is making Singapore its main hub in Asia, and plans to start more flights from the country. It will commence flights between Singapore and Osaka via Taipei from 5 July.

Qantas is expected to receive three more leased A330s next year, on top of the two that have been set aside for Jetstar Asia. However, it is not clear yet if Jetstar Asia will receive more A330s in the future, says a Jetstar spokesman.

Jetstar will begin direct daily flights between Auckland and Singapore from March next year promising lower fares.
The budget service will use a 303-seat Airbus A330-200 in two-classes including a basic business class.
The Auckland service would connect with flights from Australian parent Qantas in Singapore, providing access to multiple Asian and European destinations.
Jetstar head of operations Mark Dal Pra said the service would bring new opportunities through lower fares to drive more travel between Auckland and Asia.
Jetstar would grow the number of seats by about 4200 a week, competing with Singapore Airlines, which flies up to twice a day from Auckland and five times a week from Christchurch.
Air New Zealand abandoned its loss-making flights to Singapore four years ago in favour of expansion to China.
Jetstar chief executive Bruce Buchanan said the route was the next phase in Jetstar's expansion in New Zealand and its wider Asian network.
"Connecting our three largest operations in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore strengthens each of these businesses and builds a solid foundation for future growth beyond Singapore to North Asia and Europe," Mr Buchanan said.
Jetstar already flies on the Tasman and took over domestic services from Qantas a year ago.
Auckland International Airport chief executive Simon Moutter said the announcement was a significant step towards achieving greater connectivity between the fast growing Asian markets and New Zealand.
"The low-cost carrier model is now being successfully applied to longer haul destinations, an important development which we believe offers the New Zealand tourism industry a fantastic opportunity to target the rapidly expanding low-cost carrier network and markets in Asia," Moutter said.
Tourism Auckland Chief Executive Graeme Osborne said the long haul service created an opportunity to stimulate visitation to the Auckland region from a market that has significant unrealised potential.
Last week Mr Buchanan said the airline was considering long haul services to Asia and North America from Auckland.
A seventh Airbus A320 aircraft would also based in New Zealand by the end of the year to expand domestic and trans-Tasman services.
Additional services would be announced over the next six weeks, he said

没有多少人能定到便宜机票。
KUL-MEL-KUL来回通常最少也要＄1000，还要visa。
