邁德資源首季轉虧為盈

（吉隆坡17日訊）產品銷量轉佳，加上土木工程業務貢獻，帶動邁德資源（MINETEC，7219，主要板）于2013財年首季轉虧為盈，錄得162萬令吉淨利。

該公司今日向馬證交所報備，截至3月31日的首季營業額，按年勁揚41%，至4523萬8000令吉。

“旗下Premix與Bituminous產品銷量上揚，另外土木工程業務表現大好，推高營業額貢獻，帶動整體營業額與淨利。”

邁德資源將透過與其他業者合作，擴大現有瀝青產品生產，同時放眼將有關產品分銷至國內其他州屬，甚至推廣至海外。

“公司同時也積極參與國內工程競標，以進一步確保盈收。”

The Board of Directors of MRB wishes to announce that Minetech Pavement Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (“MPTSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Minetech Quarries Sdn. Bhd., which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 19 June 2013 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for Quarry Joint Venture (“MOU”) with Pantai Quarry Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 597223-K) (“PQSB”) whereby both parties are negotiating exclusively to jointly develop one of the plots of land located at Tapak Perindustrian Segari, Mukim of Pengkalan Bharu, District of Manjung, Perak measuring in total approximately 85.54 acres (“Land”), as quarry (“Quarry Land”) vide a joint-venture company (“JVC”) and undertake the quarry operations inter-alia to win and extract various quarry products and to process such quarry products and sell the same for financial profits (“Proposed Joint Development”). PIRSB Industrial Development Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 487618-P) (“PIRSB”) is the registered owner of the Land pursuant to a ‘Transfer of Assets and Liabilities Agreement’ made between Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak and PIRSB dated 20 December 2004. PIRSB had appointed PQSB to extract material/ minerals from the Quarry Land pursuant to the Deed of Mutual Agreement entered between PIRSB and PQSB. The purposes of MOU are to allow both parties to further consider and discuss including but not limited to Quarry Land related issues, the initial capital of the JVC and general understanding in relation to the Proposed Joint Development, the establishment of the JVC and the undertaking of the quarry operations.  The key salient terms of the MOU include, amongst other, the following: (a)      MPTSB and PQSB will form a JVC to undertake the quarry operations on the Quarry Land and to undertake the sales and marketing of the quarry products and other products; (b)      MPTSB and PQSB shall subscribe for ordinary shares in the JVC in the following proportions: Name Number of Ordinary Shares of RM1.00 each only Percentage (%) MPTSB 510,000 51 PQSB 490,000 49 (c)      JVC will appoint K.S. Chin Minerals Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 115934-U) as the quarry operator of the Quarry Land on the following terms: (i)      That KSCM will supply all necessary plant and equipment to win and/or produce the quarry products; and (ii)     That KSCM will sell all the quarry products obtained from the Quarry Land to the JVC at a contract price to be agreed between the parties. (d)      PQSB shall permit KSCM/ the JVC to use PQSB’s jetty exclusively, save and except where PQSB uses the jetty for its own operations. (e)      The MOU shall take effect from the date of the MOU and subject to early termination in accordance with the provisions as stipulated in the MOU, remain binding and in full force until the occurrence of the earliest of the following events: a.    The execution of the formal agreement; or b.    The expiry of six (6) months from the date of the MOU; or c.    The mutual agreement of the parties to terminate the MOU. 邁德資源昨日向馬證交所報備，子公司邁德建築在本月16日獲得金務達工程私人有限公司的合約頒發信，該合約總值2508萬令吉的合約。

該合約主要為雙溪毛糯通往加影捷運計劃工程，挖掘地下工程，合約從今年8月1日開始生效，為期570天。
