b. find the probability that faulty equipment and faulty software does not occur simultaneously.

由于已知 chairman 已经 oppose，所以不需考虑 2/5。 5C4 是说要获得 4 票共有 5 种方法。

b 应该是 0.95

a. the digits x and y satisfy the relationship x=y+2

b. both x and y are more than 6

问题没说问什么，我想你应该是问机率的问题吧。。。。

a 应该是 4/45
b 应该是 1/15
c 应该是 1/90

以上的算法是假设 x 和 y 不能是同样的号码

因为跟次序有关，用p做：

(15P3 + 2×15P2×10P1 + 10P2×15P1)/25P3 = 3/5

a. {(2,0),(3,1),(4,2),(5,3),(6,4),(7,5),(8,6),(9,7)}
   8/(10×10) = 2/25
b. 3×3/(10×10) = 9/100
c. {(9,7)}
   1/(10×10) = 1/100

依题意，x应该可以等于y。

为何跟上面其他的都不一样啊？？ 哪个是对的？？
（1）还有X是从10个number里choose了一个，然后Y才从剩下的9个号码choose一个。
（2）还是Xchoose 了一个然后放回去让ychoose 一个啊？？

如果是 0.09 那就是说 x 和 y 是可以相同的号码，就像 mathlim 网友做的。
