ELT是今年2月的事来的
多啦叫D-Lite是因为他的笑容让人看了很窝心/开心，所以就用delight aka D-lite
YB叫太阳，英文solar代表太阳，所以用了SOL
胜利的英文是Victory，所以他们用了V.I的简写来代表胜利

GDragon confirmed as guest for Flo Rida’s Korea concert performance

Big Bang GDragon has been invited to guest for American hip hop artiste Flo Rida’s S.Korea concert.

Coming 22nd May, GDragon will appearing as guest appearance for Flo Rida’s first ever concert in Seoul YeonSae University Hal. Flo Rida previously paid a visit to Korea in October 2009, even though he did public performances back then, this will be the first time that he will open a concert performance to meet up with the Korean fans.

Meanwhile, this news have came as garnering much interests from fans and netizens since GDragon was involved in a plagiarism controversy last year where his solo album title song ‘Heartbreaker’ was said to have plagiarised Flo Rida’s ‘Right Round’.


In the midst of it, Flo Rida did a featuring version of GDragon’s ‘Heartbreaker’ song for his first solo concert ‘Shine A Light’ live album which once again became the hot issue amongst music fans.

Meanwhile, Flo Rida will be having his concert performance on 21st and 22nd May but GDragon will only guest for the concert performance on 22nd May.

Tickets to the concert performance will be sold on InterPark and Auction on 13th April.

South Korean singer Uhm Jung Hwa was a guest on MBC's Golden Fishery. During the show, Uhm Jung Hwa give an account of her collaboration with Big Bang member TOP for the song 'D.I.S.C.O' two years ago.

Uhm Jung Hwa said : Sometimes I am very worried about junior female singers releasing new songs at the same time as me. I released a new album in year 2008 but for two weeks in a row, the new song wasn't even ranked at number one in the music chart. But then when singer Lee Hyori released her new song, it immediately occupied the number one spot. I took this opportunity and invited Big Bang member TOP to collaborate with me for a new song. In fact, YG generally will not write songs for other singers but at that time I was very satisfied with Big Bang's song 'Lies'. So I immediately gave a call to my agent and let him discuss, hoping that YG will work together with me. Later the agent readily accepted my request and recommended Big Bang member TOP to me. I feel at that time, the agent really made a lot of effort for me. And thus TOP also readily agreed to work together.

Lastly Uhm Jung Hwa said : After TOP and I went on stage together, many Big Bang fans cheered for me, I am very touched by this. Some fans also specially prepared lunch for me, I am very thankful for their support and encouragement.

Earnings and profits for ‘Big 3′ SM-YG-JYP for year 2009 revealed!

How much were the earnings and net profits for Korea’s top 3 management companies – SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment – in year 2009?

Managing the top idol groups in Korea, Lee SooMan (SM), Yang HyunSeok (YG) and Park JinYoung (JYP) are also the largest shareholders of the companies. And there have been great interests in the rivalry going on between these 3 entertainment giants amongst fans.

On the 12th, Financial Supervisory Service revealed the earnings of YG Entertainment for year 2009. YG recently reported their earnings on the 9th, so did the other 2 companies, through an electronic announcement system under the service.

Under sales, SM Ent (The only KOSDAQ listed out of the 3) is #1 with 61,788,490,000 KRW in sales. Increase from 43.7 billions KRW recorded in 2008

SM Ent manages some of the biggest idol groups in Korea including So Nyeo Shi dae, Super Junior, SHINee, Dong Bang Shin Ki, f(x) and BoA etc.

But in terms of increase from the previous year, YG Entertainment is #1 with 35,693,360,000 KRW in terms of earnings in 2009, up 92% from the record of 18.5 billions KRW in 2008. This is also the first time the company broke through 30billions KRW in earnings in 10 years since its establishment.

2009 has been a good year for YG En with Big Bang doing well with their concert, GDragon, DaeSung, SeungRi and TaeYang with their solo activities. 2009 was also the debut of their female group 2NE1 which had roped in earnings through their various albums and CFs released.

As for JYP, their earnings last year was 10,163,540,000KRW. There is a drop in 7% in terms of earnings but considering that WonderGirls has been inactive in Korea, this is good results. Idol group 2PM also played a decisive role in the company’s earnings last year with all the saga going on.

Under operating profits taking away sales costs and salaries:

1. SM – 9,266,340,000 KRW
2. YG – 7,390,890,000 KRW
3. JYP – 230,000,000 KRW

Also, under net profit

1. SM – 4,471,310,000 KRW
2. YG – 4,162,260,000 KRW
3. JYP – lose of 4,677,770,000 KRW

For JYP case, it was not the lose for the company and its artistes, but rather the lose was absorbed by the investors for WonderGirls’ American debut last year. So with that, the assessment of loss can only be attained based on the WonderGirls’ success in their legitimate American activities this year.

[News] Lee Hyori is no.1 in real time chart

Lee Hyori is getting hotter and hotter in the kpop industry.

Just after a few hours of release, her title track "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" made it number 1 on real time music chart. She is making the top spots in other charts as well. She debuted in the top spots in Monkey 3.

On the real time chart, her title track "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" is number 1 followed by "How did we get" in 2nd place which she sang in duet with big bang's daesung, Swing is also following right behind these songs which featured Gari of Leesang.
