从2009年12月5日到6日两日间在国内最大的室内公演场之一奥林匹克体操竞技场举行的G-Dragon的首次单独演唱会Live专辑[SHINE A LIGHT]即将发售。

出道3年便举行的G-Dragon的首次单独演唱会共聚集了2万4千余名的歌迷,呈现了大盛况。G-Dragon从演唱会的开始到收尾都亲自领头指挥,超越了作为BIGBANG在舞台上所展现姿态的'GD'发散着其Chrisma,无拘无束地纵横了舞台。

将让2万4千余名的歌迷们狂热的G-Dragon的火热舞台原样收录的此次专辑将为还想再看演唱会的人们将当时的火热气氛,以及让没能观看演唱会的人们犹如在现场一般的生动感传达出来。

共收录了16首曲目的本张专辑以同样作为BIGBANG成员的太阳为首,Dara、CL、Teddy、Kush等均参与其中,最棒的现场工作人员如实保住了当天的热情，制作出了将听的感动和乐趣极大化了的最棒的Live专辑。

G-Dragon is cleared of charges!

Big Bang’s G-Dragon was hotly reprimanded for having inappropriate performances in front of many young people during his concert in 2009. His concert was held in last December and he went under investigation for his sexual dance and the prohibited performances of songs that had been banned.

But on the March 16th, it was announced G-Dragon was cleared of charges regarding children’s protection law and the performance of banned songs.

YG Entertainment stated that his songs Korean Dream, She’s Gone and his album Heartbreaker got banned because of its ratings, but his concert wasn’t banned itself so it didn’t technically break any laws regarding performing.

As for the “bed scene” performance of Breathe, it was decided that the performance was just trying to express the song dramatically, so that issue was cleared of charges as well.

However, the police demanded around 3,000,000 won ($2,600 USD) as a fine; as a performer, G-Dragon and his associated staff have taken care of the matter.

YG Entertainment also said, “[The issue] didn’t go to court or anything so we consider it basically a pretrial disposition.”

The investigations took place on the 15th when police realized he didn’t technically violate any sort of law under children’s protection law and performance of banned songs. However, he is free of charges regarding performance laws.

First the plagiarism controversy was essentially cleared with Flo Rida’s announced collaboration with GD, and now his concert scandal has come to a close; quite relieving for fans, right?

Daesung is always smiling. But he’s as sharp as a dagger on the inside.

”I can be angrily determined too. I’ve been practising my acting lately for the drama ‘What’s Up’, and my acting teacher told me that I’m as sharp as a dagger on the inside though I’m always smiling. ”

He’s also has a subtle greed. We can see this when we look at his past experiences of singing, variety, musicals and now a drama.

“The President asked me first about ‘Family Outing’, ‘Music Core’, and the musical. He said I’d been given the opportunity to take part, so do I think I can. Seungri had started musicals before me so I’d gone to watch ‘Sonagi’[shower (like rain shower not shower shower)] before. It was the first time I’d ever watched a musical and I liked the atmosphere so much that I thought to myself that I wanted to do one too some day. When the offer came in, I knew I definitely didn’t have enough practice time but I got greedy and grabbed the chance while it was there.”

He always gazes far into the future. He loves his fans too bits, but he’s always cautious never to become trapped in the small world they’ve made for him.

”When you’re a celebrity, it’s easy to become trapped in the small world made by your fans. There are actually quite a lot of people like that. I don’t think I should live like that, immersed in my own little world. I think there are times when I have to look at my life from a step back.”

He has a strong determination not to fall behind others. He tries to be confident, even deliberately forcing himself to be sometimes.

“Dad tells me that noone can beat the stubbornness of the Kang family. If I’m absolutely sure that what I’m doing is the right way to go, I don’t pay much attention to what people around me might tell me. I’ll think to myself “I don’t need to pay particular attention to this.’ I think if I’m given a job to do, it has to be flawless so I don’t regret it later.”

But even so, Daesung is really optimistic. YG Entertainment’s President Yang Hyun Seok seems to have paid attention to this aspect of him as well. He picked Daesung’s personality as the most important thing when he chose him as a trainee for having a pretty smile.

“It’s all thanks to my mum. Mum’s been telling me ‘Think on the bright side’ over and over again since I was little.”



He pays close attention to everything his sunbaes [seniors] say to him. He keeps them in his mind and uses them to reflect on himself and help him mature more. He is growing so much under the influence and advice of his huge sunbaes in the entertainment industry, like Yang Hyun Seok, Yoo Jae Seok, Kang Ho Dong, Yoon Jong Shin and Lee Hyori.

[NEWS] Kim Seung Woo “Big Bang’s TOP will be a TOP actor when he is 40″


Actor Kim Seung Woo (on the right) has praised TOP, actor and member of Big Bang as being “An actor whose future I look forward to“.

In an interview for ‘Into the Gunfire’ on the 19th, Kim Seungwoo said “The actors who have the hardest job in this movie are TOP and Kwon Sangwoo, who both play student soldiers.”

He went on to say “To be honest, I was really worried about TOP’s acting skills during IRIS. I would think ‘Oh my gosh, what are we going to do with him’ but I was amazed at his quick progress. Seeing him film this time round made me think ‘He’s gonna make it big’. I’m actually kind of jealous that he’s this good at such a young age. He’s definitely gonna be a TOP actor in his 40’s.”

Actor Cha Seungwon also added that “The person who benefits the most from ‘Into the Gunfire’ is TOP. Now that he’s filming something like this in his early 20’s, he won’t have anything more to achieve in his 40’s.”

Serbian singer Milan Stankovic’s statement ‘GDragon copied me’ gets fans angry

Serbian singer Milan Stankovic has recently garnered much attention with his statement that GDragon has copied him.

On 20th March, Serbian ALO reported that, “The winner of 2010 EuroVision Song contest Milan Stankovi said that ‘Korea GDragon copied my hairstyle’. Milan also added ‘I’m excited that someone is influenced by me from a faraway country. This is proof that I’m doing well since a music star from another country has been influenced by my style’.”

EuroVision Song Contest is a yearly large scale song contest established in 1995. And winner Milan Stankovic released the song ‘Ovo je Balkan’ in where the concept and choreography of the song seemed very much similar to GDragon’s ‘Heartbreaker’.

Serbian netizens also commented, “Milan is more famous than GDragon. His Youtube video views are higher.”


But GDragon’s fans are angry about this. A Serbian fan said, “My mother works in the fashion industry. There was once when Milan came to her office and she showed him GDragon’s photos, and Milan said, ‘I want to be like GDragon.’ After that, he appeared on TV with the same outfit as GDragon and we were shocked.”

Korean fans also commented, “This had happened because Kpop is growing popular in Europe”, “GDragon has no time to waste worrying about this Serbian singer”, “This is so quirky like an April Fool’s day sitcom” etc.
