I'm going to 和 I'll 的分别:

I'm going to ... 用于：
打算，有意图或计划做一件事情，说话前已经做了决定：
I'm going to visit my grandmother this weekend.
I've won the lottery. I'm going to buy a new car.
I'm going to go on holiday in December.
I'm going to work in Singapore next year.

I'll ... 用于：
说话前未曾计划过，说话时才决定要做某件事：
Hold on. I'll get a pen.
The phone is ringing. I'll answer it.
I think I'll go for a walk after dinner.
I'm very busy now. I'll talk to you later.
I think I'll have noodles for breakfast.


如之前某楼所述：
be going to 也可用于：
根据某些迹象或证据，预测即将发生某件事情：
The sky is very dark. It's going to rain soon.
It's 8 o'clock! I'm going to be late for school.

讨论一下为什么
More than one house is for sale.  用单数的 is
而 More than one of the houses are for sale.  却用复数的 are

More than one house 多过一间屋子，很明显的是复数，为什么还是用 is
我的理解是：
more than one house 这词组里只有一个名词：house，
所以这一句子里的[主语/Subject] 是单数的 house,
根据 主谓一致/subject verb agreement :
house - is

至于 More than one of the houses ：
比较以下例句，就很容易理解：
One of the children is my cousin.
Two of the children are my cousins.
More than one of the children are my cousins.
