-Hwang Jinsun: G-Dragon is the only idol that is not just 'good' at dressing himself, but an icon with impact. Because of Bigbang, style became vital in the entertainment industry and there has been a change to the relationship between the singers and the fashion brands(Before fashion brands tried to avoid sponsoring singers but for G-Dragon a premium brand(which was Louis Vuitton) asked first to give him a sponsorship). One of his strongest points is that he has his own vision about fashion, not made up by all the experts. In 2009 where he did all his solo activities, he made himself the best contemporary icon through his music, performance and style. He dyed his blond, and added bold accessories etc. to make his style even more extreme. His photo shoots in the fashion magazines were impressive also. His ability to pull-off various looks despite his height and skinny-body was amazing. He is a style genius that would stand out wherever he is.

Out of Bigbang, G-Dragon's sense and ability to understand fashion is quite amazing. It was amazing enough that there was an idol group member who wore John Galiano and Ann Demeulemeester, but it was even more amazing that he could pull those looks off in his own way. It was obvious that I was interested in what kind of fashion he was going to experiment with when I heard about his solo album. His album <Heartbreaker> had a big controversy because of the plagiarism dispute; thus there were various opinions about his album. However, the style he presented on stage was even more than what we expected. His unique look where he mixed and matched many items and his blond hair made me say "wow G-Dragon". I'm really looking forward to his fashionable performances at the year-end performances.

G-Dragon is the only idol that can understand and pull-off designer brands such as Ann Demuelemeester, Bernard Wellham etc. that fashion experts prefer. When Bigbang first debuted all I thought was 'oh an idol that has nice style came out'; however, their style was not just made by their stylist. Big Bang’s upcoming concert ‘2010 Big Show’ 1st window ticket sales is sold out in just 5 minutes, with all 12,000 seats taken up by fans.
The window opened at 8pm on 28th December on GMarket for Big Bang’s ‘2010 Big Show’, and the 12,000 seats for 29th January’s show were sold out in just 5 minutes. About 150,000 fans had logged in to get the tickets, making it a record ratio of 12.5:1 competition for the tickets, showing the great interests for Big Bang’s upcoming concert.
Especially since the Big Bang members have only been promoting solo for year 2009, and busy with their Japanese promotions, it has been quite some time since we have seen Big Bang perform as a group domestically. There is great anticipation for this concert by the whole group and in addition, the concert is said to have a strong concert branding over the past years.
The Big Bang members have also gathered together for the concert directing meetings and poster filming amidst their busy schedule preparing for the year-end shows.

Big Bang GDragon’s tears flowing down his cheek during his performance has roused much curiosity amongst netizens.
During his performance of ‘Heartbreaker’ on 29th December for 2009 SBS Gayo DaeJun, he was seen in tears when performing, and had many fans and viewers curious and surprised.
With that, many fans and netizens have attributed that to the plagiarism issues brought up against him for his 1st solo album ‘Heartbreaker’ in August, and then all the criticisms against him once more for some scenes said to be inappropriate for youths during his 1st solo concert recently.
Some fans also went up to GDragon’s me2day page and wrote messages like “Close your 2 eyes and block your 2 ears, we will protect you”, “It hurts my heart to see you in tears. Please don’t cry. Have strength” etc.
