比如说:
(ap^2 , 2ap)
要找locus,
就把它变成:
x=ap^2 y=2ap
p=y/2a ---eq 1
Sub eq 1 into x=ap^2,
x=a(y/2a)^2
y^2=4ax

2)For the curve y=x^p(e^-x/2), where p is an integer greater than 1 , find the
value of x when dy/dx=0
(书里有一个答案是x=0,但是我算不到) |

1)From dy/dx=-1/(x-4)^2, deduce that a curve has no turning point.
d^2y/dx^2 = 2/(x-4)^3
since for any real number of x , 2/(x-4)^3 will not = 0
therefore , the curve has no turning point.
2)For the curve y=x^p(e^-x/2), where p is an integer greater than 1 , find the
value of x when dy/dx=0
bracket 能弄清楚么 - -
是x^[p(e^-x/2)] 还是 (x^p)e^(-x/2)还是 (x^p)(e^-x)/2 |
