2NE1 speaks for themselves 'The 4 types of hurtful comments we got caught up in'

The group that is known as the 'hottest rookies' in the music world today, 2NE1 has had the debut stage. But, even though though the girls have been the biggest interest in music fans, there also has been hurtful comments and rumours surrounding them from their team name to their popularity even before their official debut.

2NE1 members have had an interview with 'My Daily' and have spoken up to the rumours that have been going around the internet. Even though these rumours are hurtful, the members answered 'cooly' without hesitation.

Giving a rookie group a 6 minute debut stage, surprising to everyone.

2NE1's first stage was on the 17th at SBS 'Inkigayo'. That day, 2NE1 debut was a 6 minute long stage disregarding the fact that they were rookies. Usually debut stages of rookies are usually 2-3 minutes long. This caught the eyes of netizens because of the differential treatment they got from other groups.

CL said "When i first heard that we had a 6 minute stage, I was thinking that we needed to try harder. Even though we hear bad things, that time of our stage had been given to us, and thought we should try harder because we got such a long time for our debut stage."

Sandara Park, scandal because of the Philipines version of "We got married?"

Sandara Park who had return to Korea after doing activities on the Philipines, recently had a photo shown of her and a male model, which has been a huge interest between netizens. After this photo had been shown, it had spread into a scandal. A spokesperson from YGE said that this photo was taken when Sandara was starring in the Philipines version of 'We got married'

Sandara also explained. "In the Philiphines, there is something called 'Love team.' You can think of it as an upgraded version of 'We got married.'It is a program where the staff of the broadcasting centre put two people together to act like a real couple while doing activities. If that couple has a lot of popularity, they keep acting like a couple, but if they don't the couple changes." She had also put out there that it was hard for her as there were systems that she didn't really understand.

Sandara, sexy concept photoshoot, netizens get interested.

Just before their debut, Sandara's sexy concept photos got shown which caused embarrassment. These photoshoot happened back in the day when Sandara was working in the philiphines, for a male magazine. She was wearing a corset and bikni in a sexy atmosphere was was a shock.

At this, Sandara did not give an explanation. Instead she said "Because i was working in the Philipines a lot, these bad things have arisen (laughs)." Through this photoshoot, Sandara had shown a different side to her.

The name mix-up

'Female Big bang' which they had been called before debut, had originally meant to be called 21(To Anyone). But soon after it was known that there had been another singer with that name and YGE changed 21 to 2NE1. With the changing of the name, Boss Yang Hyun Suk said an officialy apology.

The members liked the name change. CL said "Because of our name change, i think we have gotten more interest. The meaning of the name is good and the style you write our name got prettier."

Q10. How and when did you decide to become a singer?
In Senior school, i was listening to Mariah carey songs, and even though i did not eat, i wasnt hungry because i fell for her songs. Thats why i decided to become a singer.

Q11. How did you become a YG trainee?
7 years ago, to become a singer, i auditioned but for 3 years i kept getting eliminated, but i kept trying and from 4 years ago, i officially became a YG trainee.

Q12. Your training day process?
I got trained in Vocals, Dance, Japanese, Chinese and Rapping.

Q13. When did you ever want to give up?
I was an overseas student in America for 10 years. I gave up everything and came to Korea to become a singer. For 3 years, i got eliminated but didnt give up, and the journey i made to come this far was hard, but for my dream i put up with it. I never had a time where i wanted to give up.

Q14. Did your parents go against it?
Because i was studying in America, they went against it pretty badly. Without my parents knowing moved schools to Burkley Music University. My parents never opened up. But i finally got permission and now they're giving me a lot of support.

Dara spoke a little and Minji was cute. CL had lots of respect and felt her charisma.

CL her natural born talent, Dara's responsiblity and Minji's carefulness.

Foreign singers dancer powerfully, but there is no difference in the live whilst dancing. I watch many videos like these so i can become perfect as well.

I came into YGE in the summer of 2007. I got trained in singing, dancing, acting and exercising etc. In YGE, rather then someone telling you to train, the trainee usually goes find the trainer and trains what he/she wants to train in.

When Boss YG said what if acting is better, i had a lot of thought in giving up my singing career dream. It was hard when the decision of me being in 2NE1 was still being answered, but i never gave up.

No. My mother's dream was a singer so rather than saying she was against it, she helped me a lot.

Vocal and atmosphere maker? Truthfully, the weight of maknae's role is the biggest (laughs)

CL charisma and the pose of a hip hop girl, bom lively laugh when she says hello was bright, and Minji little primary schooler and dance genius.

CL her perfect talent and her smile, Bom her awesome voice and pretty legs and Minji her powerful dance and her cuteness.

Which face expression am i going to sing with on stage whilst singing 'FIRE' and Stone pot rice mix (its really yummy!)

HipHop, pop and soft love ballads. I like all types of music.

Someone like Uhm Jung Hwa sunbae who is an awesome singer on stage, a talented actress in dramas and movies, and i want to be a dara who has a changed image.

When i was younger, i saw a music video and while i was watching, i wanted to dance so i pestered my mother to take me to a dance academy. While dancing, i got to know about HipHop music and vaious other types of genres and thats when i wanted to beomce a singer.

Q11. How did you get accepted into YG entertainment?
In my 5th year at primary school, someone uploaded a video of me dancing onto the YGE website, and i got a call from YGE and auditioned. That is how i got in.

I trained for 5 years and after school finished, i used to go to the office to train in singing, dance, japanese, chinese, english, rap etc.

Q13. When did you want to give up?
When it was about 6 months i came into YGE, whilst singing, i over did my vocal chords and couldnt sing. It came to a hard stage and wanted to give up, but i frequently got treatment and had vocalisation practice and i was able to recover.

Q14. Where your parents against this decision?
No, they werent against it. They supported me a lot and they even moved to seoul from Gwangju for me and helped me.

Cute maknae role, rap and vocal

Q16. Your first impression of the members?
CL by looking at her clothes, she seemed the type of girl to like hiphop, bom while i was watching her audition, i knew she was a good singer. Dara, i thought she would be my rival because of her baby face (laughs)

CL is good at mind control, Bom is touching towards other people and has a really nice voice and Dara the ability to express herself well.

I think i have the biggest intrest in dance. I'm always happy when i find a new dance and also when i have to learn a new routine.

Hiphop, electronic, House, pop and also recently fell for Lil Wayne's 'I am me'

    Due to the passing of ex-president Noh Mu Hyun, all variety shows that was scheduled to show on the 24th on SBS will be cancelled.

    On the 23rd, a spokesperson SBS had a talk with Money today star news and said "Because of the passing of the ex-president the whole nation is in mourning, we will cancel all the shows."

    Instead of these shows, a program dedicated to ex-president will be shown.
