枪手在上个赛季的防线弱，Clichy的确是有一定的责任，但不是最大的那个，别忘了他们的中卫组合是“弱不禁风”的那一种，再加上换来换去的“神经刀”守门员，再再加上球风与整体战术都更倾向于进攻型，防线想不差都很难。。。

其实Clichy是不错一下的，只是不知道为什么成名以后，表现会变的差许多。。。至于Enrique，我个人认为他并没有比Clichy厉害到那里去，只是这一两个赛季的状态比Clichy稳定而已，我是觉得500万的Clichy会比1500万的Enrique有着更高的性价比，而且我也相信国王定能激发他本来的潜能，恢复到以前的状态

另外，我也希望国王可以召回Insua，作为轮替/后备球员来使用，他也是个不错的苗子（除了防守较弱之外，但我认为这是可以改善的），有潜能成为世界级的边卫。

Liverpool Football Club have tabled a new transfer bid for Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish failed to bring Adam to Anfield during the January transfer window but he should finally get his man this summer.
Blackpool and Liverpool have been negotiating for the player since the season ended and following developments this week, Reds director of football Damien Comolli now believes that he's in a position to force through a deal.
It has been very quiet on the transfer front recently due to a stand-off between Liverpool and several English clubs but as we said last weekend, we expected to see some activity at the end of this week and this certainly ties in with what we told our members to look out for.
Expect to see things pick up considerably on all fronts over the next 7 to 10 days.

Not impressed with Raul Meireles exit talk

Raul Meireles, the only good thing to come out of the Roy Hodgson era, and there's speculation doing the rounds that he may be the one axed to make way for the new midfield imports. Now it is of course just rumours but I believe there's something in them and I want to discuss the lad.
The 28-year-old midfielder really started to look the business in the second half of last season. I admit that initially I didn't think he was going to be a major hit but as he settled into the team and the English game, I started to see some class, class which I think we would see more of in his second season with us. It takes time for imports to settle in, some never do, but I think Raul was there.



In April Raul was named the PFA Fans' Player of the Year for 2010-11, having beaten off competition from the likes of Samir Nasri, Dimitar Berbatov, Fernando Torres and David Luiz. He had previously been named the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for February.
Capped 47 times by Portugal, Raul is a very popular face around the club. Team-mate Lucas Leiva, who was named 2011 Liverpool Player of the Year, stated that Raul Meireles would be his choice for the award, a feeling shared by other players in the squad.

Liverpool paid out around ￡11million to Porto for Raul and speculation this week has suggested that we'd let him go for as little as ￡13million. Not only would I be saddened to see Raul sold, but I'd be disgusted if we let him go for around ￡13m, especially when you consider what we've invested in Jordan Henderson.

I understand that we can't keep every midfielder following the capture of Henderson and the proposed signing of Charlie Adam, which I do expect to go through. But there are players ahead of Raul who I would be willing to move on before him. Christian Poulsen is the obvious one and although I like Jay Spearing, Lucas and Jonjo Shelvey, I still rate Raul as better than all of them. However, people will immediately state that the midfield trio of Spearing, Lucas and Shelvey are younger. True, but Raul only turned 28 a few months ago. The age thing is starting to get a bit silly to me. While youth and promise are needed, so is experience and 28 is no age. I don't believe we're looking to sell because of that, if indeed we sell at all.



Spearing has really impressed me under Kenny Dalglish. Prior to Kenny's appointment I wouldn't have hesitated to move him on but under Kenny he's looked a different player. Lucas, despite his performances last season, is the minimum standard of player I expect in our squad. I wouldn't want to see him sold and I do like him, I just think he's been hyped-up a little. I hope he continues to improve but I still believe that there's better out there. Shelvey would benefit from a loan move. I like him too though. So ship out Poulsen, loan out Shelvey and retain Raul. If we want to be taken seriously we shouldn't be moving on our best players. Our bench last season was terribly depressing. We need to look past our first 11 and look at strengthening the bench also. This is so important.

It has been suggested by the media - so this cannot be deemed fact as yet but we can discuss it - that we are looking to sell Raul to finance other deals. If true, I find this worrying.

We cannot become a 'selling club' if we are to realistically challenge for the title. Just because we sign a player such as Henderson shouldn't mean that by default we need to move on another player to fund it. This is wrong and you won't see this at clubs who challenge for the title year in, year out, unless they have a very strong squad, which we don't have yet.

I said when the owners were appointed that I would give them this summer to show their intent. It's only June 24th so it is wrong for anyone to question them at this stage. We also have to be realistic in that we can't sign players that the likes of Chelsea and both Manchester Clubs can, Arsenal too. If players want the top brass and Champions League football, there is nothing Damien Comolli and the owners can do about that, nothing.

However, just because they maybe can't buy certain players doesn't mean that they should have to sell what we already have, especially key players like Raul.

I know that we've made attempts to bring in some real class players (Eden Hazard for example) but that we just don't meet their ambitions at this time or silly money has been demanded.

Players like Stewart Downing will offer us better than what we had last season and maybe Kenny and the rest of the coaching staff can get more out of him but I'm not going to be overjoyed at such a signing - but I will back him from day one. I'm not arsed that we missed out on Ashley Young. Charles N'Zogbia is better than both in my opinion. But of course Juan Mata is the type of player that I'd like to see us sign but if Manchester City and Barcelona do make formal attempts to sign him, we can forget that one straight away.

I'd be happy with us signing Connor Wickham and Scott Dann for example, but I'd be happier if we showed even more intent before the window closes and that also includes not selling players like Raul to raise funds. If he is sold and that's why he was sold, then questions need to be asked.

I'm not flapping, not at all. There's a long way to go and I expect to see things heat up in the next 7 to 10 days. I also wouldn't be surprised if we land someone out of the blue deep into the transfer window that will leave you saying; "WTF?!".

I continue to support the owners and I have complete faith in the team that are trying to make deals happen behind the scenes. I'll just be saddened if we start moving on players like Raul well ahead of those who are not worthy of playing for Liverpool Football Club, even a Liverpool Football Club that is absent from the European stage.

Juan Mata 'interested to hear from Liverpool' - REPORT



An internet report today suggests that Juan Mata could be interested in a transfer to Liverpool, even though the Reds cannot offer him European football next season.
The source used in the report on Goal.com is 'unnamed' which won't impress many readers but nevertheless we wanted to cover it because of something in the quotes that our members will pick up on straight away.
"If Liverpool are interested, then the player would also be interested to hear from them," said the source.
"While they are not playing in Europe next season, that would not be a hindrance, because Liverpool is a club with a big tradition.
"Yes, it's true that there have been rumours linking Mata to Liverpool but I can say that so far there has been no formal contact or offer from the club.
"Mata has offers on the table from Premier league teams that are in the Champions League next season.
"For now, he just wants to focus on the national team in Denmark at the moment but as soon as that is over he will consider his future.
"Mata is due back in Spain next week. There is a lot of speculation linking him to a move to the Premier League so he will sit down and make a decision about his future then."
