Sergio: P Zero hard - pit to - P Zero medium

Having completed only three laps in qualifying Sergio had something to prove in today's GP2 Feature race and he did not disappoint. Lining up 24th on the grid he calmly fought his way through the field, taking the chequered flag in 9th and scoring his first GP2 points.
Alexander's race was by no means simple, after starting fourteenth and being hit on the opening lap he recovered, putting in consistently quick lap times to bring the car home in a points scoring position. Finishing 8th in today's feature race also means Alexander will start from pole position
Alexander Rossi "That was a challenging race, I am very pleased with the result and starting from pole tomorrow is great. My car is good enough to win so if we get through turn one cleanly we have a good chance.
"After I was hit at turn two and was out in the gravel I lost seven or eight positions and I thought the race was pretty much over. I was luckily on the option tyre and was able to pit early and then it was about pushing one hundred percent all the way. You can never give up I'm really happy to have a result and score more points for the team."
Sergio Canamasas "I had a pretty bad start along with everyone around me and I had to avoid many crashes. I touched my front wing with Berthon which was unavoidable but then had to do the rest of the race with front wing damage which hurt the front tyres.
"I am so happy that I overtook from 24th to 9th and scored my first points in GP2. I think without the damage to the wing I could have been even better and finished further up.
"It means a lot to finally have some GP2 points and a good starting position for tomorrow; it has been a happy day for me." |

Alexander took his position as pole sitter for the Monza GP2Sprint race, but wheel spin hampered his start and he dropped backto seventh off the line. He fought hard to recover and was up tofourth by the end of the first lap.
Light rain fell half way through the race and he took hischance, passing Bird and Leal for second place where he remaineduntil the flag, taking his third podium of the season.
Sergio lined up ninth and had a pretty eventful race by anyone'sstandards, with some great battles and overtaking manoeuvres, finally bringing the car home in eleventh.
The team are overjoyed after a very positive weekend with bothdrivers scoring points and another trophy to add to thecabinet.
Alexander Rossi "I am very pleased for the teamas the car was great and another podium is a brilliant reward.
"I had the worst start of the season at the worst possible timeand from there I knew I had to take a couple of risks to make backthe positions. When the rain came I took the opportunity as I knewthe others would be conservative and it paid off as I passed Birdat the exit of turn 2 and then Leal.
"From there I tried hard to catch Adrian but he made no mistakesand there was nothing I could do. I'm pleased I was able to recoverso many positions but it is still a little bitter sweet and I willkeep fighting for a win."
Sergio Canamasas "I had an enjoyable race inthe sense that there were some great battles and it was cleanracing. I lost some time and places when fighting with Nasr andColetti and although I am not in the points I had a good race withno incidents or problems.
"When the rain fell, Parabolica was a bitslippery but it didn't affect me much. I am pleased that Ihad a solid weekend with my first points yesterday. "I always look to be better and Singapore isjust around the corner so we will see what we can do there."

Following EQ8 Caterham Racing's best qualifying session of theseason Alexander and Sergio lined up on the second and fourth rowsof the grid respectively for the Singapore GP2 Feature Race.
The team looked on anxiously as wheelspin hampered Alexander'sgetaway and with Sergio flying off the line the two Caterhamsjostled for position through the first few corners.
Both cars made it through the first lap cleanly with Alexanderrunning eighth and Sergio 12th.
Following some very close racing Sergio pitted as soon as thewindow opened on lap six for soft tyres and with Alexander on adifferent strategy he waited until lap nine.
Following the stop Alexander was flying and managed to overtakehis way up to fifth position but with five laps remaining heretired due to braking issues.
Sergio struggled for pace following his pit stop, taking thechequered flag in 19th.
Alexander Rossi "Our start procedure did notwork for me today which meant it was pretty much damage controlthrough the first few corners and I was eighth at the end of thefirst lap.
"After the pit stop I had the pace and was able to overtake carsquite easily and it looked like we were on for a solid fourth orfifth place finish.
"However, from lap five onwards the thing holding me back wasthe brakes and with five laps to go I went into turn 18 and justcould not stop. We had to take the decision to retire the car atthat point which was very disappointing, but these things dohappen.
"Despite that the pace of the car was very good and from thatpoint of view I am very pleased as this circuit has high tyredegradation, and the fact that we had no issues and werecompetitive all the way through means we just have to accept thatthese things happen and do our best tomorrow."
Sergio Canamasas "This was a really hard racefor me and probably one of my worst as I started seventh and hopedfor a good result.
"I got a really good start but I had to fight hard for positionin the first few laps and after that I just did not feel that I hadany grip and was unable to push as hard as the other drivers.
"Tomorrow will be tough but I have made good progress from herebefore."

Alexander Rossi victorious in Abu Dhabi
A delighted Alexander Rossi crossed the line to take his maidenGP2 victory after an action packed Feature Race at the final roundof the season in Abu Dhabi.
The win was by no means simple as Alexander lost the lead toPalmer into the first corner and with two safety cars it wasdifficult to gauge the tyre strategies of the other frontrunners.
The risk to run on the medium compound prime tyre from the startand only change the rears paid off and when Palmer pitted Alexanderwas asked to push hard - he responded with the fastest lap, allowing him to jump Palmer and take the lead.
The race became a little close for comfort after the secondsafety car but Alexander kept his head to take the first win of hisrookie season.
Sergio certainly had an eventful race as he weaved his waythrough the field during the opening laps, getting himself intoeighth place and looking good for a pole in Sunday's Sprint Race.Disappointingly, contact with Evans meant Sergio dropped fourplaces and ended the race 12th.
The team are overjoyed with their first win of the season. Theyhave been getting closer and closer during the last few rounds andconverting pole position to a win is a great reward for all theirhard work.
Alexander Rossi "We finally did it - what can Isay! The team did an amazing job and although the pit stop strategywas tricky we did the right thing changing just the rear tyreswhich meant we gained some time on Palmer.
"The second safety car was not great for us because the carsaround me had changed to super-softs and we needed them to run outof rubber, but we held on and I am delighted with the win.
"Now we know we can win it gives me confidence going into theoff-season and I hope I will have the opportunity to come back nextyear and continue from here.
"At this point I feel we have a Championship winning car and Iwould like to thank everyone in the team for giving me thisopportunity today."
Sergio Canamasas "Firstly Iwould like to say well done to the team for the win with Alexanderbut it is just a shame that my race did not go to plan. "It started well and I managed to overtake manycars before the first safety car but with just a few laps left Ihad an incident with Evans which meant I span and I lost manyplaces. "The worst thing today is that before thisincident I was eighth and could look forward to pole positiontomorrow. Maybe there is no luck for me but tomorrow I will pushagain."

Race distance: 122.073km
Race length: 22 laps / 60 mins
Circuit Length: 5.554 km

Sergio: P Zero medium (new)
Weather: Air temp 33˚C / tracktemp 37˚C - Dry
The team arrived at Yas Marina Circuit in high spirits todayfollowing Alexander's maiden victory in the Saturday Feature Racebut his hopes of a repeat performance were dashed at the firstcorner when his front wing was damaged. Through no fault of his ownhe was clipped going in to turn one, causing him to lose his frontwing, ending his race in the tyre barrier.
Sergio reacted instantly as the lights turned green and made alightning getaway, drawing up alongside his team mate and managingto clear the first corner unscathed. He drove a calm and focussedrace making clean overtaking manoeuvres, finally taking the flag ineighth place.
Although the drivers' championship was sewn up on Saturday theGP2 finale ended in true style with plenty of action for thecrowd.
The team are delighted that Alexander takes the top rookie spotand would like to thank both drivers for their hard work anddedication this season.
We now look towards the GP2 post season test on5th, 6th & 7th November whereAlexander will be back in the car alongside Will Stevens, RioHaryanto and Facu Regalia.
Alexander Rossi "Our tyre strategy for today'ssprint race was always going to be a challenge, but obviously thiswas not the way I wanted to finish the 2013 GP2 season. We haveaccomplished a lot with the car this year and we have a lot to beproud of as a team. A pole and a win this weekend in Abu Dhabi wasthe perfect segue to 2014.
"We pushed hard all season, and to come in ninth overall andtake the GP2 top rookie title after missing the first round inMalaysia was not bad. Had things been a little different in justone or two races we could have been sixth or seventh in theChampionship, but that is motor racing.
"I look forward to my FP1 Formula One session in the US in acouple of weeks and sharing our 2014 plans very soon."
Sergio Canamasas "I hoped of alittle more in the last race of the season but I think we have tobe happy with eighth position. "I have pushed hard all year and mentally forme it has been one of the most challenging seasons I have had inracing, with accidents and penalties but in the end I am happy withthe way we have all worked together and would like to thank theteam. "First I will take a shower (laughs) and then Iwill take some time to enjoy the end of the season before I thinkabout my next motor racing career move." CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS

Car #15 Alexander Rossi - 1:52.006 - 35 laps(long runs - used tyres)
Weather: Air temp 29˚C / track temp 28˚C -Dry
Caterham Racing fielded 2013 GP2 driver Alexander Rossialongside GP3 vice Champion Facu Regalia on day one of the OfficialGP2 test in Abu Dhabi.
Alexander continued his winning Abu Dhabi pace, topping the timesheet on his second lap, a position that he maintained until theend of the morning session.
Familiar with the track, having raced in the GP3 finale at YasMarina circuit this weekend Facu sat out of the morning sessioncompleting just two installation laps, choosing to use his tyreallocation in the afternoon.
The second session took place in cooler temperatures at duskwith Alexander focussing on long race runs to acquire tyredegradation data, having used both sets of tyres in themorning.
Facu went fourth fastest on his first new tyre run of theafternoon and completed four further runs.
The end of the session was hampered by a red flag caused byAlexander's puncture and Facu caught traffic on his final push lap, losing half a second and despite posting the fastest second sectorhe ended the afternoon tenth fastest, making a great impression onthe team.
Alexander Rossi "I don't think it is everexpected to be P1 in any session but with the results we had at theweekend here I don't think it was a total surprise thismorning.
"This afternoon we focussed on long runs to try and find thelittle bit of time we are sometimes missing during race distancesso overall it was a very successful day, despite the secondrun being cut a little short because of a tyre issue.
"I am happy that we have accomplished everything that we neededto and I now look forward to my next outing which is FP1 in Austinwith Caterham F1 Team."
Facu Regalia "We chose to save the two sets oftyres for this afternoon as I wanted to be as fast as possible.
"I was quickly making good lap times but I realised that I wasstill driving the car like a GP3 car and had to adapt my style.
"We saved the last set of tyres for the final 30 minutes but thered flag stopped my first run and we then had to wait for 15minutes before having another run. I tried to be patient and findspace but I didn't realise it was almost the end of the session andonly did one flying lap. I lost half a second in my first sectordue to traffic and I think I would have been top five withoutthis.
"The car felt very good and I was comfortable, I just wanted todrive more and more and for me it is a shame not to be driving forthe next two days. For sure I hope to get the budget for GP2 nextyear and I already have the Pirelli GP3 prize money to go towardsthis.
"I want to give my thanks to the team as they put everythingtogether for me very well today and I enjoyed working withthem."

He willcombine his GP2 commitments with another year as a Reserve Driverfor Caterham F1 Team, continuing his development towards anultimate race drive in Formula One. Alexander is joined by RioHaryanto, the Indonesian driver who has progressed in GP2 since hisfirst season in the series in 2012 and who, with Alexander, makesone of the strongest driver pairings in the championship.
Alexander Rossi: "I am pleased to be back withCaterham Racing for 2014 fighting for a GP2 Championship. My 2013program had some changes which meant I missed the pre-season testsand a couple of the early GP2 races, however, throughout the seasonthe team and I made some big progress and by Abu Dhabi we weredefinitely one of the cars to beat. This continued in thepost-season tests and I'm quite confident about the pace in2014.
"As returning Caterham F1 Team Reserve Driver my duties willcontinue with various F1 outings and as the main simulator driverat Leafield and on track Reserve, when my GP2 commitments allow. This is the perfect development for a future F1 race drive as itmeans I'm able to play an important role in assisting the teamdevelop its 2014 car, something that will be particularly importantwith the 2014 technical changes.
"I have to thank everyone involved at Caterham and Team Rossifor making this happen. We have a fantastic chance to win the GP2title in 2014, while the F1 team achieves its goals of movingforward. This is an important era for all of us, as the sportenters a new generation. What a great way to start 2014!"
Rio Haryanto: "It is a great feeling to signwith Caterham Racing for my 2014 GP2 campaign. After such asuccessful post season test with the team in Abu Dhabi and thepossible Formula One opportunities, this was the obvious choice forme. Mia Sharizman, EQ8 Caterham Racing TeamPrincipaI: "I am delighted to announce that Alexander willcontinue with us into 2014, and that Rio is joining our team. Thisannouncement also means that we can focus on our 2014 preparationsmuch earlier than we have been able to in previous years. Our teamhas undergone a number of changes since the end of the 2013 seasonwhich we believe gives us the capability to have our best season todate, and to build on our previous Championship results.
"Our plan for Alexander in 2014 is part of a two year GP2programme. After finishing 2013 as top rookie it is now time forhim to mount a challenge for the Championship, and with theexperience he has gained and the increased support he will have in2014, I believe that the Championship is a realistic target.
"Racing alongside Alexander will be Rio Haryanto. Having Riojoining the Caterham family is the result of a lot of hard workover the last two years, in which time we have seen Rio developinto one of the most promising Asian racing drivers in the world. His experience in GP2 will help the team develop further and havingtwo strong, consistent and quick race drivers will help us achieveour goals. Rio is a determined young man and he returns to GP2 withthe aim of being a strong Championship contender alongside histeammate."

Rio Haryanto was once again the early morning pace setteron day two of the Official GP2 test in Abu Dhabi, closely followedby team mate Alexander Rossi and despite a rather unsettledsession, halted by four red flags, the EQ8 Caterham Racing duonever dropped outside the top ten.
This afternoon was about simulating long race runs for theteam and further analysing the Pirelli tyres, especially during themid afternoon heat wave.
Both drivers achieved their engineering objectives, feeding back their thoughts and providing a clear comparison on thediffering set-ups they had trialled throughout the day. The teamare increasingly pleased with the work of both drivers and it is agreat boost that they are so closely matched.
Rio Haryanto - "This morningwe made some more changes to the car, plus it was a difficultsession for everyone with all of the stops that we had, but I washappy with the results. "This afternoon I completed two long runs asplanned and I was very pleased with the consistent lap times andthe feel of the car. The second run was definitely better than thefirst and now I am looking forward to using the option tyretomorrow, which we have not tested with yet." Alexander Rossi - "Our pacehas been good all day and we know we have a competitive carhere, so today we focussed on fine tuning and truly testing, ratherthan chasing times. Alexander Rossi "Overall thishas been a very successful three days and has given us lots tothink about as we move to Bahrain next week. "Performance runs on the option tyre were themain focus this morning and I think we did a pretty good job. Wehad some questions about optimising the super soft tyre going intothe session and I was happy to be eighth, just a couple of tenthsshy of the top three. "This afternoon I continued with the race runwork initiated yesterday and I am genuinely pleased with the way wewere able to adapt and manage the tyre wear so effectively. Thisgives me a new found confidence in one of our weaker areas lastseason.
Rio Haryanto "I struggled to getthe best out of the option tyre this morning and I needed to findaround a second to compete with the quickest cars on track. "This afternoon I tested the option tyre on along run, which was very different to the prime and generatedplenty of data to analyse before we arrive in Bahrain. "I am happy with the way the test has gone andI am really pleased to be working with the team and Alexander."

Alexander Rossi Tops Day One in Bahrain
Alexander Rossi stamped his authority on the first day ofOfficial GP2 testing in Bahrain, posting the fastest time of theday with a 1:40.604 during the afternoon session while Rio Haryantoworked on a different plan, choosing to save new tyres for thesecond and third days and complete more used tyre runs.
Alexander Rossi "Topping the times on day onein Bahrain is a really positive start to this test and has given usall a boost.
"The three day test in Abu Dhabi left us with a list of thingsthat we wanted to cover here in Bahrain and we were missing a bitof overall lap time on the performance runs which we seem to haveresolved.
"This morning I was slightly compromised with a small brakingissue that was quickly fixed and moving into this afternoon it wasclear that we had good pace and found a sweet spot on the primetyres.
"With two more days to go and the option tyres to run it will bea busy test for the team."
Rio Haryanto "Sakhir is a challenging track andone that I enjoy because of the high speed corners.
"This morning I felt very comfortable in the car and we foundsome improvements on the hard tyres. In the second session I justused one set of tyres as I wanted to make sure I had plenty for thenext few days.
"For the race weekend we will be qualifying in the evening andas we can't test at that time of day we need to see how the optiontyre performs as late as possible, which is something we will lookat on days two and three.
"Overall I am pleased with how our day went today."

EQ8 Caterham Racing on top in Bahrain
A near perfect second day of testing for EQ8 Caterham Racingsees Rio Haryanto top the overall times in Bahrain, edging outteammate Alexander Rossi who experienced a brief rain shower duringhis new tyre run. With just four hundredths of a second separatingthe pair their morning times were good enough to maintain the toptwo spots until the end of the day.
With performance runs completed during the morning session bothdrivers focussed on consistency and tyre evaluation over long runsthis afternoon.
Rio Haryanto "It is a great feeling to be ontop of the time sheets on day two and really good for the team asAlexander and I were comfortably fastest and keep pushing eachother forward.
"This afternoon I tried long runs on the prime and optiontyre. I am quite happy with the balance of the car and Istill have some work to do on knowing when to push and back off onthe longer runs.
"We made good progress today and even on the prime I was quitequick this morning, so hopefully tomorrow will be another good daybefore we go to the first race weekend here in a few weeks.
"I also want to say thank you to the team who have been workingvery hard to get the car to this point."
Alexander Rossi "I wasn't expecting the weatherto play a factor in our run plan at two tests in the Middle East!None the less it is a great day for the team and we proved thatyesterday wasn't a fluke. To have our cars fastest and so close toeach other shows that we should definitely be confident in ourqualifying pace now.
"This afternoon in the race runs I was quite happy with theconsistency we achieved on a completely different track and adifferent type of tyre.
"Tomorrow we will try some more setup changes as it is our lastchance before the season starts."

The tenth GP2 Season got underway at Sakhir International Circuitin Bahrain with a 45 minute midday practice and an eveningqualifying session.
Track conditions changed drastically between practice andqualifying seeing the times fall by over two seconds as the circuitbecame cleaner and temperatures dropped.
Rio had a steady start to qualifying as he gauged the grip levelgaining confidence on his second set of tyres he posted a time of1:39.228 on lap ten qualifying fifth.
Following a difficult practice with braking issues Alexander Rossimaintained a top five position on his first tyre run in qualifyingbut following a red flag he was taken to the weighbridge leavinghim out of sync and in traffic. Unable to put a lap together helines up fifteenth on the grid for the feature race.
Rio Haryanto "This morning there was a lot of dustand sand on the track but in qualifying I was surprised by the griplevel and we were doing 1:39's instead of 1:42's.
"At the start of the session it took me an extra lap to understandwhere the grip was but on the new tyre run I managed to get out ontrack in a good position after the red flag and improved by twotenths.
"I am happy with fifth in qualifying and I feel that we can do evenbetter tomorrow. The key is to get a clean start and we definitelyhave a good race car so I will of course be doing my best to go fora win."
Alexander Rossi "The track was a lot better thisevening and similar to the conditions we experienced in testing soit was pretty easy to go out and get straight on the pace. On thesecond tyre run we were pretty unlucky with the red flag and thenbeing called to the weighbridge which put me to the back of thefield causing traffic issues.
"With all that being said the car was quite good and I was happywith the balance and performance that we had but it just didn'tcome together on the same lap.
"I am disappointed and looking ahead to tomorrow I am obviously ina difficult starting position but I think we have a very strong cararound here and the race runs that we did in testing will payoff.
"The goal now is to get into the top eight tomorrow and pull aresult out of the weekend."

A tough day at the office
Sakhir International Circuit, Bahrain -05/04/14 Car # 18 - Rio Haryanto - P16
Car #19 - Alexander Rossi - P22
Race distance: 173.184 km
Race length: 32 laps / 60 mins
Circuit Length: 5.412 km
Tyre use:
Alexander: P Zero soft - pitto - P Zero hard
Rio: P Zero soft - pit to - PZero hard
Weather: Air temp 32˚C / track temp 46˚C -Dry
Rio Haryanto made a good start from the third row of the grid onhis EQ8 Caterham Racing debut making up two places into turn onejostling for position and settling into a comfortable fifthplace.
With the safety car being deployed on lap two both Rio andAlexander took the opportunity to switch to the prime tyre as soonas the pit stop window opened in the hope of gaining trackposition.
Following the stop both drivers experienced high tyredegradation and were unable to maintain their pace or race positionwhich is something that will be reviewed and rectified.
Rio Haryanto "My start was pretty good and Imade up a few places, on the first few laps I maintained the pace. The safety car came out for three laps and we decided to box asearly as possible to try and gain positions which we did. Ireturned to the track in third trying to put in consistent laptimes but from the middle of the race I struggled with rear tyredegradation and a lack of traction which we need to analyse.
"Sixteenth isn't a good finish for me but all is not lost and Iknow we have the pace and we will get back up to the front of thefield"
Alexander Rossi "Starting 15th wasalways going to be difficult but I didn't think it would be thistough after our testing pace was so good here a few weeks ago.
"We changed tyres at the start of the pit stop window and I wasstacked behind Rio for a few seconds. This looked like the bestoption during the race but now it is difficult to say as I lostquite a lot of time.
"It was a big shock how much I struggled with tyre degradationand after the pit stop I knew that it was going to be a tough race.As a team I think we were a little bit caught out and have torethink the long runs in these temperatures.
"Now we will use tomorrow as a bit of a test, keep the faith andrecover."

Bahrain Sprint Race
Bahrain GP2 Sprint Race Sakhir International Circuit, Bahrain -06/04/14
Car # 18 - Rio Haryanto - P16
Car #19 - Alexander Rossi - P25
Race distance: 124.476 km
Race length: 23 laps / 45 mins
Circuit Length: 5.412 km
Tyre use:
- Alexander: P Zero hard
- Rio: P Zero hard
Weather: Air temp 34˚C / track temp 44˚C -Dry
The disappointment from Saturday's GP2 feature race carried oninto Sunday for Alexander Rossi as contact on lap two caused apuncture and he was forced to use the race as a test for the optiontyre, taking the chequered flag in 25th place after twopit stops and a setup change.
Rio made a promising start, gaining two places and fighting fora point scoring position in the opening laps. He took the best outof his tyres trying to pass Daly and began to struggle mid-racewith understeer. By lap 19 he could not maintain 13thplace conceding positions to three cars and ending the race16th.
It has been a challenging weekend as the team had high hopesfollowing Alexander Rossi's podium in Bahrain in 2013 and theperformance in the pre-season tests, but work now begins for thestart of the European season in Barcelona.
Alexander Rossi "The start was alright despitehaving to avoid a stalled car in front of me and I was just acouple of cars behind Rio after the first two laps which I wasquite pleased with.
"Unfortunately I picked up a puncture and had to pit for usedsoft tyres which lasted ten laps before I had to pit again.
"The feeling I had in the car compared to yesterday was betterand it is a shame the result doesn't reflect that. How big a stepforward we made isn't clear as I wasn't on the prime tyre so it'shard to quantify it but the feeling was definitely better. We areon the back foot a little now but we have a good team and willrecover for Barcelona."
Rio Haryanto "My start was ok, I gained a fewplaces in turn one and by the end of the lap I was 12thand focussed on trying to get in to the top eight to score somepoints. I tried to save my tyres but by the middle of the race Ibegan to struggle with understeer and a few guys got past me.
"I think we still need to work on our race pace in these hotconditions - we gained a little bit of traction from yesterday butI still lost too much in the corners.
"I think for Barcelona where the track temperatures are lowerour car will perform better.
"It has not been the weekend we hoped for but the team haveworked very hard on the car and I am grateful for that."

Rio Haryanto "Since Bahrain I have been back inSingapore completing my university dissertation and training tokeep my fitness level up. I have also been to Leafield and used thesimulator as part of my preparation for this weekend.
"Bahrain was not the result that we wanted but we have a verygood qualifying car and the team have done a lot of analysis tounderstand the problem we had in the Bahrain race. I know the teamare going to give me a good race car and we will definitely seeimprovements.
"Barcelona is a pretty challenging circuit - the first sector isa mixture of medium and high speed corners but the final sector iscompletely different with tight, slow speed corners which can makethe overall car setup difficult.
"To be honest I wouldn't say Barcelona is my favourite track onthe calendar but I scored points in race one last year so I hope torepeat that performance."
Alexander Rossi "Bahrain was a very difficultweekend but it was three weeks ago, we have all moved on and aremore than ready to make a comeback in Barcelona.
"This track is one of the most familiar on the calendar as it isheavily used for testing in GP2 and most European Championships.Everyone is on the pace quickly making qualifying difficult and thewhole field is usually separated by a very small margin.
"Barcelona is a track that punishes mistakes, so we will have tomake sure that we capitalise on every opportunity throughout theweekend."
