Description	Memorandums of Sublease between Samalaju Industrial Port Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad) and Samalaju Port Authority
The Board of Directors of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (“BPHB”) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Samalaju Industrial Port Sdn. Bhd. (“SIPSB”), has entered into the following Memorandums of Sublease with Samalaju Port Authority (“SPA”) on 8 August 2025: (1) Memorandum of Sublease for the sublease of Lot 295, Block 1, Kemena Land District ; and (2) Memorandum of Sublease for the sublease of Lot 83 (79.0 hectares) and Lot 312 (112.4 hectares), Block 1, Kemena Land District. The purpose of the said subleases is for SIPSB to construct, operate and maintain port facilities to fulfill its responsibilities as the Approved Port Operator under the Port Authorities Ordinance 1961. This will facilitate the expansion of critical port facilities to support growing operational needs. The ceremony for the Exchange of the Memorandums of Sublease between SPA and SIPSB was held on 27 August 2025. Further details are provided in the attachments accompanying this Announcement.
