Closure of Sales for Public Bond Fund
We wish to inform that Public Bond Fund will be closed for sales with effect from 10
January 2011. We will continue to process investments from existing Direct Debit and
Regular Investment instructions.
Following the above, investors may consider investing in our newly launched Public
Strategic Bond Fund (PSTBF) and Public Islamic Strategic Bond Fund (PISTBF).
PSTBF aims to provide annual income to investors through investments in fixed
income securities and money market instruments, while PISTBF aims to provide annual
income to investors through investments in sukuk and Islamic money market
instruments.
PSTBF and PISTBF will invest at least 75% of its net asset value in fixed income
securities and sukuk respectively, where half of each Fund’s fixed income portfolio will
be invested in fixed income securities / sukuk with remaining maturities of 5 years and
below, with the remaining half invested in fixed income securities / sukuk with
remaining maturities of more than 5 years.
Given the investment policy of PSTBF and PISTBF, the impact of interest rates
increase on these two funds is mitigated as prices of bonds and sukuk with shorter
maturities decline by a smaller margin as compared to bonds and sukuk with longer
maturities when interest rates increase. Conversely, if interest rates decline, PSTBF and
PISTBF will also benefit as prices of bonds and sukuk with longer maturities appreciate
by a larger margin as compared to bonds and sukuk with shorter maturities.

能源价格一直上，会跌的吗？其实12月，PAUEF升了6.63%，是大众信托12月的一哥。

哇唠~连这个PBOND也关。惨了。卖了出来就不能放进去了。

（无意中发现过去这几年，PBOND在每一年12月都有不错的涨幅，有一年甚至高达2%）

Investment Strategy
The Fund will invest at least 75% of its NAV in sukuk. 50% of Fund’s sukuk investment will be invested in sukuk which have remaining maturities of 5 years and below. The remaining 50% of the Fund’s sukuk investment will be invested in sukuk which have remaining maturities of more than 5 years. The balance of the Fund’s NAV will be invested in investment accounts and Islamic money market instruments. The Fund Manager may adopt temporary defensive strategies by lowering the sukuk exposure of the Fund below 75% and increase its investments in money market instruments, if the investment climate is deemed to be unfavourable and weakness in the sukuk markets are expected. The Fund is actively managed and its portfolio of sukuk investments would be exposed to risks of adverse interest rate movements and credit rating changes. On the other hand, should interest rates decline or credit rating of the bond improves, then the Fund stands to benefit from the resultant price appreciation. Notwithstanding this, the Fund’s exposure to the potential risks and returns need to be managed actively in order to achieve the risk-reward trade-off that is reasonable to the Fund. Although the Fund is actively managed, the frequency of its trading strategy will very much depend on market opportunities. To increase diversification, the Fund may invest up to 25% of its NAV in foreign sukuk if the returns are assessed to be promising. The foreign markets which the Fund may invest in include Australia, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, United States of America and other permitted markets.
The Fund’s investments in domestic sukuk will be selected from the list of sukuk readily available at the Securities Commission website. The Fund’s investments in foreign sukuk will be selected after consultation with the Shariah Adviser. For any foreign sukuk to be designated as Shariah-compliant, the Fund Manager will first identify the foreign sukuk in the selected foreign markets. To ensure strict compliance with Shariah requirements, the Shariah Adviser will review the information memorandum or the prospectus of the foreign sukuk for details regarding the Shariah approvals and fatwa certifying such sukuk. The Shariah Adviser will review the structure, contracts, assets and terms for the foreign sukuk issuance to ascertain if they comply with Shariah principles.
Furthermore, the above investments are subject to limits and restrictions that are precisely spelt out in the sections titled “Authorised Investments” and “Investment Restrictions”.

应该是在initial investment批准了，有了新的基金户口后才可以做DDI，因为你要从你现有的基金户口里选你要做DDI的户口。
Agent的话，如果你觉得你的agent的服务很差，你很不爽他，就不要放他的名字咯，不要给他白赚。不过就算你没有放agent的名字，PM还是会抽5.5％的，所以没差。（觉得这个很不合理，自己服务自己还要被抽5.5％，有没有搞错？？）

就是因为可以选择代理，所以投资者可以选择好的代理为他们服务啊。。竟然要给服务费的了，做么就不选择代理呢？有什么问题可以叫代理帮你们代劳。。

我正在考虑要不要放代理的名字，因为他都不太管的。
很多时候都是我自己弄的...

原本想直接放另外一个新代理的名字，可是刚才试了才知道不能。
只能选原来的代理或不放。。

就是因为可以选择代理，所以投资者可以选 ...
