You're a twit if you believed Charles N'Zogbia Liverpool hoax


I cannot believe that some of you fell for the Charles N'Zogbia signing for Liverpool announcement yesterday. The source of this worldwide exclusive announcement was of course Twitter, a social networking source that is banned from discussion across the KopTalk network for this very reason.
Who in their right mind read the following 'announcement' and actually believed it? I dare you to own up.
"Ladies & Gents, the identity of the mystery player that Liverpool Football Club have agreed personal terms with is Charles N'Zogbia. A fee has been agreed with Wigan, personal terms have been agreed with the player's representatives & the player will undergo a medical and sign a contract when he returns from holiday. The deal is not yet 'official' but subject to a medical being passed, N'Zogbia will be a Liverpool player."
Do you really think that an agency of any description would use words such as 'Ladies & Gents', 'mystery player', 'the player's representatives' when the account was actually supposed to be his representatives and 'the deal is not yet official'? To make matters worse, some websites picked the quotes up and actually used them. What an absolute FAIL.



I'm sorry but if you actually believed this nonsense - especially knowing that it came from Twitter - then you need your head examining. If you're under 10 then I may consider you exempt from criticism.
To make the whole thing even more embarrassing, the official Liverpool FC website decides to include such claims in their media section, this despite knowing that so many fans examine everything they post thinking that the club might be dropping hints. The muppet that made the decision to include that article on the offal is as thick as the clown who posted the hoax in the first place.
The following statement is attached to all media articles listed on the offal: 'This story has been reproduced from today's media. It does not necessarily represent the position of Liverpool Football Club'. Well I'm sorry but this does nothing to stop frenzied speculation amongst our fans who are desperate to see us compete in the transfer market.
I think it's wrong that the offal gave this report prominence. The official site should stick to reproducing from the mainstream media and credible news sources, as we do on our members website, to try and prevent such confusion. Why the offal needs to focus on any kind of speculation confuses me. That should be left to the fans sites and muppets on Twitter. We have a great official website but it shouldn't be playing with the emotions of our fans.
It hurts me when genuine Reds come to me asking if reports like this are true and then they say 'But the official website wouldn't include it Dunk if it's rubbish'. I have to say 'yes they would mate' and it leaves me wondering how many other supporters around the world think the same way i.e. if it's on the offal, even with a disclaimer, then there must be something in it.
With regards N'Zogbia, he remains an option. We exclusively revealed several weeks ago on our members website that there had been contact with Triple S Sports (Paul Stretford, Freddie Shepherd and Kenneth Shepherd) regarding the Wigan winger. Personally I'd love to see him signed but I know the last place this will be announced is on a social networking website of any description.
Liverpool are currently at a stand off with several England-based clubs as part of a negotiating tactic to try and drive asking prices down. I expect things will start to pick up possibly later this week as we prepare to enter July - which is when I hope to see significant spending on European targets.
Before signing off I will say the following. If you need to ask if a report or source is genuine, it's likely that you've already answered your own question.
KopTalk is for grown ups... although I personally quite enjoy acting like a big kid at times... but for the love of God, keep this Twitter nonsense away from our members and non-members communities. There are sites out there for younger Reds and those who are a fuse short of a plug. They're not hard to find, they'll be discussing this editorial any time now.

一个是年轻有为，一个年纪接近巅峰期...可以一试，毕竟他已经在英超打拼久了...有经验是好事...
左后卫看好clichy可以胜任，便宜+有经验+巅峰期的年龄...

中场虽然多人，感觉能够和队长站在一起平起平坐的好像都没有...

中后卫嘛zapata突然杀出来就拿下来啦...虽然我挺欣赏gary cahill的...最好两个都有
