挖德比小子。。。 Liverpool Poised to Complete £6m Deal to Sign Derby County Teenager Will Hughes
by The Newshound August 20th, 2013
Anfield side look to bring in England Under 21 international.
Liverpool are said to be closing in on a deal to sign England Under 21 international Will Hughes according to the Metro.
Brendan Rodgers has clearly adopted a youthful transfer policy and is keen to bring in the Derby County midfielder, who is considered one of the hottest prospects in British football.
The Liverpool boss sent chief scout Dave Fallows to monitor Hughes during the England Under 21 side’s 6-0 thumping of their Scottish counterparts and were clearly impressed by the 18 year old’s performance.
Hughes is into his third season in the Derby County first-team and made 36 starts in all competitions last term and has shown maturity way beyond his years and is a player Rodgers will feel has the potential to be a big star.
The cultured midfielder may well be ready to make an instant impact in the Premier League and if brought in would represent Liverpool’s fifth signing of the summer following the acquisition of Kolo Toure, Simon Mignolet, Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas.
Nigel Clough will be loathed to lose Hughes but may not stand in the player’s way if an offer of £6m has been made. The youngster does have three years to run on his current Rams contract.
Tottenham are closing in on a £60 million double swoop for Roma star Erik Lamela and Anzhi Makhachkalaattacker Willian, Goal can reveal.
Spurs technical director Franco Baldini is meeting with Roma chief Walter Sabatini in London on Tuesday for a fresh round of Lamlea talks, while Willian is set to undergo a medical in the capital in the next 24 hours.
The White Hart Lane outfit have yet to confirm a fee with Anzhi for Willian but Goal understands that they will pay in the region of £30m for the 25-year-old Brazilian. Liverpool had previously been confident of securing the attacker's signature after lodging a bid of £26.5m on last week, but the player's preference to play under Andre Villas-Boas helped the Londoners to move into pole position for his signature. 本帖最后由 hooi369 于 20-8-2013 02:26 PM 编辑
下面顺便在分享一则新闻〉 Liverpool: Hughes To SignLinks to Will Hughes, strong links mind, first started to really surface last week and its being claimed by the Metro today that an offer is going to be made for the teenager this week.
£6m will be offered to Derby for their England U21 international midfielder and that will see them "win the race" for the £18-year-old...
Hughes has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and United but having been scouted again by Liverpool during the England U21 win over Scotland last week a move has been decided with Anfield his destination?
The little that I have seen of Hughes has impressed me, I've little doubt that he can make it at the top level so if Liverpool can bring him in for a "reasonable fee" then I think it'll be a move that would work out well for everyone.
Liverpool Transfer News: Leandro Damiao To Snub Reds
August 20, 2013
Liverpool look set to miss out on Internacional’s Leandro Damiao this summer after the striker revealed he is happy at his club, according to Team Talk.
The 24-year-old has been on the radar of a string of Premier League clubs this summer including London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham and even Southampton, while Brendan Rodgers’ side are thought to be the latest side to show an interest.
However, all four look set to be disappointed with the Brazil international stating:
“The first time I was sounded out, I was happy, but I have to overcome that now – I am focused on Internacional – it has to be a good offer for me and the club.
“A lot was said. I am calm, nothing has come and I am still focused on Internacional and in the Brazilian Cup.
Both Spurs and Southampton have been in unsuccessful talks with Damiao in the past, and the striker warned that it would take a substantial bid from one of his suitors to persuade him to leave at this stage of his career.
He continued:
“If a very good offer comes, then maybe it [a transfer] could happen.”
However, speaking about his player’s long-term future, Inter president Giovanni Luigi claimed his club had received no new offers for Damiao.
“There have been no contacts in the last 15 days, not even speculation.
“Many times an agent comes and tries to make conversation between the clubs but we haven’t even had that.
“Everything indicates that Leandro Damiao will stay.”
Damiao is considered one of the hottest young properties in world football at present and recently excelled at the 2012 London Olympics, where he was the top scorer in the men’s football tournament.
He also scored seven times in 19 appearances for Internacional last season, and could be viewed as the long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who continues to be linked with a summer move to Arsenal.

And while Sporting are willing to consider offers for the player prior to the transfer window closing, they have now reiterated that they will not drop their asking price.
Earlier this summer Liverpool were reported to have had a £3m bid for Capel rejected but the Anfield club may be about to come back with an improved offer having offloading Stewart Downing to West Ham.
However, Liverpool could face strong competition from Marseille for 25-year-old with the French club ready to turn to Capel if they are unsuccessful at prising Arsenal and Newcastle target Florian Thauvin away from Lille.

Daniel Agger says he is happy to reject Barcelona and stay with Liverpool despite the club’s failure to secureChampions League football.
Barca boss Gerardo Martino has been linked with a swoop for the new Liverpool vice-captain in recent weeks as he looks to improve the centre-half options at Camp Nou.
But Agger, who signed a long-term deal with the Reds last summer, is committed to the Merseyside outfit despite interest from the La Ligachampions in his services.
“Barcelona are obviously a big club, but I have never thought about leaving Liverpool, unless they want to sell,” Agger said.
“Everyone at the club are an integral part of my life. I. I have a YNWA tattoo.
“Frankly I don’t mind if we don’t finish in the top four, I love the club.”
Meanwhile, Martino played down reports suggesting he was preparing a swoop for the Liverpool centre-half – or any other defenders.
“A new center back? I’m happy with the team I have,” said Martino.
“There’s always the January window if we need anything. Last year’s problems in defense were the result of injuries. We have enough options if everybody’s fit.”

"I can learn from my new manager, get to know the new style of play here, familiarise myself with different opposition teams and learn the language. It's going to be a great experience for me, and of course playing for the club for the first time is something I'm excited about."
