直截了当，简简单单就好了：
This is just to let you know that I've received your email. I'll get onto you as soon as possible.  
(7 天好像给人一种“很久”的印象)

注：以下不是说你，不要多疑...... :
注意到很多新马人很喜欢刻意地使用一些他们认为“很深”的字或很复杂的句子来写东西，认为这样才能显示他们的英文程度...
其实越简单，越顺畅的英文才是好的英文，读的人也会觉得舒服舒畅，不用遭受精神虐待......至少我是支持这一派的...

补充一下：

go to Langkawi on holiday 似乎会比较自然一点：

go (to Langkawi) (on holiday) : go + (place/where) + (purpose/why)
比较：
go (to the market) (to buy some vegetables) : go + (place/where) + (purpose/why)

很重要的e-mail 是须要通知的,对方怕我们收不到或还末读(unread).

第一句是模仿某间美国公司CEO旳e-mail,他是华人.
第二句是模仿我同事旳写法.

read for

to study a subject at a university:

I read history at Cambridge.

read for   

He wants to read for a law degree.
