- Well, you bought a car that has zero infrastructure ready. That seems like putting the cart before the horse.
-Who was dumb enough to believe they would have hydrogen stations as frequent as gas?
-I asked owners about the mirai. They told me that refuel stations are too far and too little, lucky if they work, and temperatures played a factor. Didnt see any benefit
Hydrogen cars have always been speculative assets and now attorneys like Jason Ingber are cashing in on car buyers’ regret.
-I was looking into buying electric and researching why the Mirai owners were selling their vehicle so low 10-12k used. Then found out so few hydrogen stations exist and the ones that exist very few work properly and they charge tons. These Mirai owners bet on the wrong horse and are suffering the consequence. Companies and government never invested in hydrogen infrastructure. Meanwhile Tesla was smart enough to create their own Super Charging network (explains why their stocks are $300+ per share). Tesla has their super charging network and their FSD that is 5 years ahead of the others from car manufacturers, on par with Waymo but waymo has tons of their own issues.
That's why I didn't want to buy a used Mirai. Knowing so few hydrogen stations there were and many of them weren't being well maintained while they were charging crazy prices per refuel.[backcolor=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05)]
