maintain the brightness of the LED

Hi,
I am facing some electrical problem hope any one of you can have a look and teach me how to solve this problem as i dun have electrical knowledge..XD

Problem statement
I am using LED Strip about 1-2meter and 12v DC battery for Jungle Trekking purposes. But i unable to maintain the brightness of the LED after few hour(3 until 4 hour). Any idea or any circuit that can maintan the brigthness of the LED?

If can maintan the brightness of the LED isit possible to add on a switch that can adjust the brightness of the LED?

Below is the model that i used.

Specifications:

● Color: Cool White

● Working Voltage: 12VDC
● LED Quantity: 300 leds/5 Mete
● Working Current/meter: 1.2A
● Working Tempreture:-20 to 50°
● Protection Rate (Non-waterproof)
● Luminous Flux: 780-900 Lumens/Meter
● Color temperature: 6000-7000K
● Size: L500cm (5M) x W1.0cm x T0.20cm
