澄清纳吉休假后如常上班
王乃志驳斥轻微中风谣言

虽然坊间谣传首相纳吉在上周末轻微中风，但其政治秘书王乃志今日辟谣，澄清首相自上周结束休假和回国工作，身子都很正常。

他指出，纳吉已经在1月1日（上周二）回国，每天都进入办公室工作，而本身每天也有与首相谈话。

“我上个星期才在办公室与他聊天，他都很正常嘛。”

王乃志今日在接受《当今大马》电访时说，纳吉上周六也到其北根国会选区，出席一系列的活动，今日早上还出席首相署常月集会致词。

“为什么会有（指他轻微中风）这种消息？”

被指不堪压力而中风

爆料网站《砂拉越报告》日前宣称，纳吉于上周因为不堪地毯商人迪巴，在过去数周揭发私家侦探巴拉修改蒙古女郎阿旦杜亚命案宣誓书的内情，不堪压力而轻微中风。

公正党策略主任拉菲兹今日一场记者会上，受到其他记者询问时也要求纳吉交代，为何自去年12月21和22日赴印度官访后，就销声匿迹了？

他说，如果纳吉并非轻微中风请病假的话，就必须交代何以突然“度假”那么久。

圣诞节曾返国赴活动

对此，王乃志（左图）解释，纳吉在官访印度后，便到国外度假，然后在圣诞节当天回国。

他说，首相当天早上出席了民政党前主席林敬益的丧礼，下午出席基督教社群的圣诞节茶会，晚上再出席国家元首的一场官方晚宴。

“他在圣诞节是特地赶回来出席这些活动的。”

他说，纳吉之后便继续休假，以及出国度假。不过，他不清楚，纳吉当时是去哪个国家

         PKR leaders have called on the federal government to clarify red-hot rumors that embattled Prime Minister Najib Razak had suffered a minor stroke so as to keep the people and investors informed of what was happening in the country's top leadership.
"Yes, I have heard the rumours since Friday. We were told he had suffered a small stroke and was resting in Singapore. This is what we heard. These are serious speculation and should be clarified. The best person to do that is Najib himself," Rafizi told a ptress conference on Monday.
Really ill or another ploy by his Umno rivals to force him to quit?
Malaysia is due to hold general elections this year that are widely touted to be historic and may usher in the first regime change in the country since 1957. Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim and his Pakatan Rakyat are expected to sweep into power to replace a disunited and corruption-riddled Umno-BN.
There has been strong speculation that Najib's own party wanted him replaced ahead of the 13th general election, paving the way for his deputy Muhyiddin Yassin to step in. Muhyiddin is believed to have secured the backing of former premier Mahathir Mohamad, who still wields enormous clout in their Umno party.
According to Sarawak Report, Najib's doctors have been on  standby all weekend.
Umno watchers are split in their views of what was realling happening in the party. Some believe Najib has really fallen ill, others believe it was a ploy to allow Najib to make a "graceful exit". There are also those who believe the news was leaked by the Muhyiddin and Mahathir camps to add to the pressure on Najib to quit.

"This is not the first time Najib has health issues. Remember he also had surgery for his knee," said Rafizi.
Tremendous pressure
It would not be surprising if the news of Najib's stroke turned out to be true as he has been conspicuosly absent from the public eye for weeks. There has been tremendous pressure on him to reply to corruption allegations made by Deepak Jaikishan, a controversial businessman who was a former close friend of his wife Rosmah Mansor.
Apparently, more expose's are in store and the coming days will be carefully monitored by political watchers for signs that Najib will step down. Deepak has promised to continue with his slew of allegations against the first couple despite receiving RM30mil from public-listed firm Boustead Holdings Bhd in a deal that has been hotly slammed and under the microscope for impropriety.
Deepak had revealed he paid Najib's family "millions" to secure approval  for a Ministry of Defense land deal involving Selangor Umno Women's  chief Raja Ropiaah. Rafizi too has accused Najib of abusing his power and pressuring Boustead, which is 61%-owned by Armed Forces Pension Fund LTAT, into the deal so as to silence Deepak and cover-up the scandal.
"This is daylinght  robbery. It is outright bribery (using Armed Forces pension money) to  silence Deepak and to cover up the scandal," said Rafizi.
His PKR party will be lodging a police report against Najib on Tuesday.
Rosmah's diamonds and helping Deepak
Last week, Rafizi made public a series of invoices from two of Hong Kong's top jewellers showing that Deepak's firms had bought 19 pieces of exclusives jewellery worth RM13 mil purportedly for Rosmah. over a three-month period in 2009.
"So far, I have not spoken to Deepak yet. Only through a third party," Rafizi told reporters.
He has promised to help Deepak reveal several corrupt deals that the latter allegedly received when he was still part of Rosmah's inner circle.
