大家好，马来西亚海龟协会刚成立不久，是个保护与保育海龟的协会，
更重要的是提供人民的意识。在此，我呼吁大家加入会员，加入我们的一份子。

5月23日是世界海龟日，来一起保护海龟吧！
我们将计划一些活动中，看海龟生蛋等。我们保育的有两种，一种是海龟turtle，一种是和龟river terrapin,
你们也可以来生态旅游，来真真的体验海龟生蛋与放生海龟的乐趣与经验。

我本身只是会员而已，我也曾经到过cherating 和kemaman看海龟，一个字：赞or like. 分享一些照片！

As this is the first time we are organizing such trips, the Turtle Discovery Trip will be held only on the weekends in May (please refer to the dates in the table below). This trip is priced at RM 180 per person. TCS members and children below 18 years old are entitled to a 20% discount (RM 144 per person). We can accommodate a maximum of 15 persons per trip, and confirmation is given on a first-come-first-served basis.

The trip includes:

• A visit to the Turtle Sanctuary managed by the Department of Fisheries in Cherating, Pahang
• A visit to the River Terrapin Conservation Project by the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia in Kemaman, Terengganu
• An opportunity to watch sea turtles lay eggs in Monica Bay, Kemaman, Terengganu

NOT included in the trip are:

• Transport from KL/elsewhere to Cherating/Kemaman
• Accommodation in Cherating/Kemaman
• Meals while in Cherating/Kemaman

Itinerary
The itinerary* for the Turtle Discovery Trip is as follows:
–Turtle Discovery Trip begins –
2pm: Meet and greet at the Turtle Sanctuary, Cherating. Briefing. Visit the Sanctuary.
3pm: Leave Cherating for Kg. Pasir Gajah.
4pm: Arrive at Kg. Pasir Gajah. Briefing on river terrapin project. Photo opportunity.
5pm: Leave Kg. Pasir Gajah for hotel.
5:30pm: Check-in hotel. Free and easy.
7pm: Dinner (on your own). Recommended restaurants: Tong Juan / Riverbend Restaurant. Halal.
8pm: Proceed to the sea turtle nesting beach, Monica Bay.
8:30: Briefing. Watch sea turtles lay eggs.
10/11pm: Return to hotel.

Addendum:
For those who are interested, you can extend your trip by driving up to Kuala Terengganu to see Turtle Alley in Chinatown. You can have a preview of this unique turtle landmark at turtlealley.wordpress.com.
