改編自同名電視動畫《刀使的巫女》。
本作是一款以「女高中生×日本刀」為題材的原創企劃，講述威脅人類世界的異形「荒魂」和使用御刀的巫女（刀使）戰鬥的故事。
角色設計為曾負責《艦隊Collection》和《從零開始的魔法書》的 しずまよしのり。

除手機遊戲外，本作亦有推出電視動畫，當前以播放至第10話。電視動畫與手機遊戲採用了不同主角，講述同一時間軸的不同故事。動畫版主角為「衛藤可奈美」（CV：本渡楓），遊戲主角則是「安桜美炎」（CV:茜屋日海夏）。

Developed by Square Enix, TV anime Toji no Miko mobile adaptation, Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi (刀使ノ巫女 刻みし一閃の燈火), is a command RPG based on Toji no Miko, which follows high school girls who also work as shire maidens and kill evil spirits – Aratama. The game’s main heroines and plot are different from those in the anime.
Players can build a team of four main characters supported by a line of support characters, to participate in solo story quests or online matches against each other. During combat, players will be able to chain character’s attack together to unleash a devastating flurry of attacks on their enemies, as well as activate each character’s unique Ultimate move, each comes with a small cutscene! Besides breeding the students, they also have to breed weapons – Katana. All sorts of material can be acquired through the usual battles, minimap exploration and sending the girls to expeditions.
