We wish to explore the Nursing fields for Malaysian Nurse to work in Singapore.
Nursing Aide (NA)
- Must attend a full time formal education in nursing, either at the Diploma or Degree level; - Must be a registered nurse at their home country with the Nursing Board or equivalent;
- For an qualified NA, after complete the first contract of 2 years with us, if their performance is good, our Director of Nursing can recommend them to take the EN test in Singapore and can be promoted to an EN. However, this is provided that they have a Nursing Board (or equivalent) in their home country; - If the candidate is awarded a Degree in Nursing, a registered nurse with the Nursing Board (or equivalent) in their home country and have more than 1 year working experience in an acute setting, the candidate is qualified to apply for an Enrolled Nurse (EN) position, if the candidate has more than 3 years working experience in an acute setting, the candidate is qualified to apply for a Registered Nurse position.
HealthCare Assistant (HCA)
- Basically the candidates do not require any formal training in nursing, but if they have gone through some basic nursing care course, it will be an added advantage;
- They must be able to obtain the Work Pass from MOM, which MOHH will apply for them, but still subjected to MOM’s WP requirements;
- However, this group will not be eligible for promotion to EN, ie, their career pathway is only senior HCA and salary adjustment. |
