Human rights campaigners are outraged at avideo that has surfaced from Saudi Arabia of an Asian man being severely beatenby a Saudi man, allegedly for looking at his wife.

The footage shows the Asian worker, wearingan orange overall, sitting opposite the Saudi man dressed in white robes.

The Asian man has a swollen eye and isrepeatedly slapped and hit in the face by the other man.

According to the English service of Al Arabiya, a news site, the Saudi man isallegedly accusing the other man of talking to his wife.
根据阿拉伯电视台网站英文版的报道，这名沙特男子谴责这名亚洲男子和他的妻子讲话。
The Saudi man then starts to repeatedlywhip the Asian man with his belt. The victim falls to the floor crying out inpain, where he is kicked and whipped over and over.
于是乎这名沙特男子不断的用腰带抽打这名亚洲男子。受害人被打倒在地，不断嚎叫，一直被踢被抽。
The shocking footage has prompted SaudiArabia' Human Rights Commission to condemn the attack after it receivednumerous complaints.
在接到多个投诉后，沙特的人权委员会谴责了这起袭击事件。
Spokesperson Ibrahim al-Shadi told Al Arabiya the beating was a 'flagrantviolation of the victim’s rights to safety and dignity.
沙特人权委员会的发言人说这起殴打事件是“对受害者人身安全和尊严的公然侵犯”。
The act also flouted rules set by IslamicSharia, he said.

The National Society for Human Rights is'investigating the issue,' its head Mefleh al-Qahtani told AFP, quoted in the Times of India.

The semi-governmental organisation woulddemand the perpetrator be punished if the case is confirmed.
