昨天又去14区digitalmall问了，还是答我不能用tm以外的modem，router就可以

1/3/13 - 救命啊！又有问题了，还以为周末可以好好在家看戏结果又没有Internet access !给了我case id说24小时会找人来弄....哎哟... |

Tm router那边换LAN 1 cable插去其他的LAN 2,3,4会有影响吗？maxis router也是有Ethernet 1,2,3,4,可以试试看插去其他的Ethernet 吗？ |

换了router之后到目前已经多年从来没有断网过。fibre 和modem通常没问题。原本没问题已经收藏多年的maxis router 拿来test怎知不能联上网。 |

What brand of router you using now?
Tomorrow maxis will send technician onsite to check my fibre issue, will emphasis the internet dropping problem... force them to change the modem for me...
May be it will be the same brand, but who care.... i will keep the replacement router dect phone usage, and buy another more stable router for internetivity

Tplink with custom firmware openwrt . there got unifi and maxis broadband ready router in the market. |

Thanks.
Just got the Maxis technician attended to my case this morning for 2 hours.
Initially thought was the Maxis router giving problem, but after few test, the rootcause was originally from TM modem.
Some ding dong happened between TM and Maxis. Maxis cant access to TM modem configuration, he need help from maxis technical team to liase with TM support, to check on the modem configuration.
At the end, found the problem, it is the VLAN, TM support can see my modem VLAN active from their system, but in fact, my modem VLAN shown different status.
According to him, TM has upgraded their backend support software version, while there are some old modem would need some manual changes.
They make changes to my Modem, then its work..... at least it is stable for 1 hour, before i leave my home just just now.
Anyway, i cant trust 100% on this, lets monitor and see.
For those who experience frequent dropping problem, you may log a case to Maxis/Unifi, ask them to rectify the issue, may due to VLAN configuration too.
