1） b) let √(24+7i) = a + bi
                 (a + bi)^2 = 24 + 7i
                 a^2 - b^2 + 2abi = 24 + 7 i

           compare imaginary part: 2ab = 7
                                                   b = 7/2a
           compare real part: a^2 - (7/2a)^2 = 24
                                         a^2 - 49/4a^2 = 24
                                         4a^4 - 49 = 96a^2
                                         4a^4 - 96a^2 - 49 =0
           let a^2 = x,  4x^2 - 96x - 49 = 0
                             (2x-49)(2x+1) = 0
                              x = 49/2 or x = -1/2
                              x > 0 , x = 49/2
                             a^2 = 49/2
                             a = +- 7/√2
                                = +- (7√2) / 2
       b= 7/2a
         = 1/√2 or -1/√2
         = √2/2 or -√2/2
  
       therofore, √(24 + 7i) = (7√2)/2 + (i√2)/2   or   -(7√2)/2 - (i√2)/2
                                        = [(7+i)√2] / 2   or   [-(7+i)√2] / 2
                                         
      其他也是一样做法                                 
            
2） z + 1/√2 = -2 + i + 1/√2
                    = -2 + √2/2 + i
                    = (-4+√2)/4 + i
      a= (-4+√2)/4       b= 1

     (log x)/(log 27)=(log 27)/(log x)
     (log x)^2-(log 27)^2=0
     log x=log 27   or   log x=-log 27              为什么 log x = - log 27 呢？？
           x=7                  log x=log (27)^(-1)
                                         x=1/27

Let log x=a, log 27=b,

a^2-b^2=0
(a-b)(a+b)=0
  a-b=0                ,             a+b=0  
     a=b                                  a=-b
log x=log 27                     log x=-log 27

Homogeneous quadratic equation in two unknows
A quadratic equation in two unknows, x and y, is said to be homogeneous if each term of the variables is of degree two. For example, 3x^2 - 2xy = 5 is a homogeneous quadratic equation, whereas 2x^2 - xy -+3y^2 = 5x + 2y is not homogeneous because the terms 5x and 2y are degree one.
请问如何分辨] homogeneous quadratic equation?

1.write the square of √a + b√c in the form p + q√r.Without evaluating the square root or using calculator , show that √18 + √3 is less than 6.

(√18+√3)^2=21+6sqrt(6)

6^2-(√18+√3)^2=15-6sqrt(6)

15^2=225
(6sqrt(6))^2=216

so 15-6sqrt(6)>0
so 6^2-(√18+√3)^2>0
so 6^2>(√18+√3)^2
so 6>(√18+√3)
