The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Straits wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Straits Port Management Sdn Bhd (“SPM” or the “Vendor”), had on 2 August 2024 entered into a conditional shares sale agreement (“SSA”) with LPM Holdings Sdn Bhd (“LPM” or the “Purchaser”) and Megah Port Management Sdn Bhd (“MPM”) for the purpose of disposing of the entire investment of 1,530,000 ordinary shares in MPM (“Sale Shares”), representing 51% equity interest in MPM to LPM for a cash consideration of RM5,000,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Five Million Only) (“Disposal Consideration”) (“Proposed Disposal”)..
