多做/分析passyear题目,可以让你知道出题的范围,因为市场上的参考书经常有syallabus范围之外的东西,有些人学了会弄乱自己。
知道出题范围了就可以选重点来专注,专解那类题目
这比较属于死板的拉  |

where 0<a<1/2 , find x

8)find all the values of x if y =l3-xl and 4y-([x^2]-9)=-24
3-x into 4y-([x^2]-9)=-24
x=-9,5
-(3-x) into 4y-([x^2]-9)=-24
x=1,3
答案是这样吗?
12)the polynomial p(x)=[(6x)^4 - a(x)^3 -b(x)^2 +28x +12 , where a and b are real constant , has factors (x+2) and (x-2)
(a) find the values of a and b,and hence,factorise p(x) completely
f(-2),
-52=8a-4b ......1
f(2),
-164=-8a-4b .....2
1+2,
-216=-8b
b=27
b=27 into 1
a=7
factorise后=(x+2)(x-2)(3x+1)(2x-3)
=-2,2,-1/3,3/2
(b)
p(x)=(2x-3)[(q(x))-41+(3x^3)]
p(x)/2x-3=q(x)-41+(3x^3)
x^2-12x+37=q(x)

log_a 3x(3x-4a) = 2log_a 2 + log_a(1-2a)
log_a 3x(3x-4a) = log_a 4 + log_a(1-2a)
log_a 3x(3x-4a) = log_a 4(1-2a)
3x(3x-4a) = 4(1-2a)
9x^2 - 12ax = 4-8a
9x^2 - 12ax +8a-4=0
x = [12a +- (144a^2 - 36(8a-4))^(1/2) ]/ 18
=[12a +- (144a^2 - 288a+144))^(1/2) ]/ 18
= [12a +- (144(a^2-2a+1))^(1/2) ] /18
= [12a +- (144(a-1)^2)^(1/2) ] /18
=[12a +- 12(a-1) ] /18
= 12a +- (12a - 12)/18
= (24a-12)/18 , 12/18
since a<1/2
then , x = (24a-12)/18 ,will get a negative number
therefore x= (24a-12)/18 rejected because log_a 3x cant take a negative value
x= 12/18

3)for the geometric series 6 + 3 + 3/2 +....,obtain the smallest value of n if the difference between the sum of the first n+4 terms and the sum of the first n terms is less than 45/64 (6m)
a=6 r=1/2
[a(r^n-1)]/(r-1) <45/64
[6({1/2^n+4}-1]/ (1/2-1)

p(x)/(2x-3) = [q(x)-41+(3x^3)]

不能死背,一定要明白concept
不明白concept 做再多问题都是假的 |
