The Board of Directors of AMMB wishes to announce that the Implementation Agreement dated 2 October 2023 has been terminated, and AMMB, MetLife, and Great Eastern Holdings Limited have mutually agreed not to pursue the proposed disposal of AmMetLife Insurance Berhad and AmMetLife Takaful Berhad to Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad and Great Eastern Takaful Berhad.
This announcement is dated 3 February 2025. |
