Reference is made to the announcements dated 18 February 2020 and 15 May 2020 in relation to the MOU entered into between the Company and PETRONAS (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply therein. Since the signing of the MOU on 18 February 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent fluctuation in the oil prices, there is minimal development on the progress of the MOU. Therefore, the Company wishes to announce that in accordance with Clause 5 of the MOU, a 30-day notice of termination has been issued by Kenanga IB to PETRONAS. Hence, the MOU shall cease to be effective from 19 August 2020. This announcement is dated 20 July 2020.

The Board of Directors of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (“KIBB”) wishes to announce that the Securities Commission Malaysia had on 20 August 2024 granted its concurrence for the operationalisation of Kenanga Digital Sdn Bhd’s, a wholly owned subsidiary of KIBB, e-Services Platform known as "KDi Go". KDi Go is a one stop digital platform for comprehensive financial and wealth solutions, and will integrate a spectrum of financial and wealth offerings under one easy​-​to​-​access ecosystem.  This announcement is dated 20 August 2024.
