We are all very excited about this good news !
But no official announcement can be made yet until we receive the letter of invitation. We hesitate to make any official announcements even though we are very happy to hear the news. So, hold our horses until the official announcement is in.
First, I would like to thank Salim (as always) for his effort in explaining a few things.
Yes, he is right, we have not received the official letter of invitation yet. We have been invited to meet them to receive it next Friday. Then again, hope it is true.
Upon receiving the letter of invitation to be University-College, we will then have to submit official documents within a few months. The official documents would include the UC organizational structure (Chancellor/etc), operational and administrative structures and policies, new programs.
Currently, Malaysian government is giving UC 5 years (may be10, not sure) to complete establishing and implementing of the UC.
We cannot possibly change whatever we are doing right now. Franchise programs will still be carried out. Any new programs operating under the UC will be introduced to new students.
Of course, INTI will find ways to operate the franchise programs without having to lose our future overseas and local market. On quality of UC programs, we are confident that we can deliver similar quality to our franchise programs, after all, we have been running them all these years.
So hang in there all, once the official announcements is out, then we will provide more information on the formation of the INTI International University College. |
