跟老外客户商务简报时，总是不知道如何开头吗？更不知道怎么用英文直指简报重点吗？甚至是在转换主题时，都觉得转得很生硬吗？想要在英文商务简报时，让老板与客户惊艳，就要用道地且自然的英文应对，本刊依照简报步骤整理关键用语，让你的简报变得更专业、有趣。记住，想当个商务简报达人，最好一切从简：内容过多，客户就会吃不消，或是兴致缺缺。

Step1：开场白感谢听众到来
Good afternoon, everyone. On behalf of ABC Company, I’d like to welcome you all here today and thank you for attending our presentation. （大家午安！我要代表ABC公司欢迎各位，感谢你们参加今天的简报。）

说明：
在简报开始前，先跟在场的人打招呼，感谢他们出席的同时，你也能顺便自我介绍。除此之外，你还可以这样说：

例句：
I'd like to start by thanking you all for coming this morning. （我想先向今天早上出席的各位说声谢谢。）
First of all, I want to thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to meet with me today.（首先，我要感谢各位今天能拨冗参加。）
补充：
「I’d like to start by……」意指「我想从……谈起。」；另一句的开头「First of all, I……」则表示「首先呢，我……。」


Step2：直指简报重点不冷场
In today’s presentation, I want to focus on ways to improve the customer service experience.（今天的简报重点是改善客户体验的方法。）

说明：
快速地跟观众打招呼，并自我介绍以后，就要说明这次简报的用意何在了。你除了可以用「In today's presentation, I want to focus on……」（今天简报的重点是……）作为简报开头之外，你也可以搭配使用以下片语：「Let's begin by……」（我们就从……开始吧）以及「I'll begin by……」（我会先……）。

例句：
Let's begin by looking at sales figures from last month. （我们先来看上个月的销售数字。）
I'll begin by asking you to refer to the handouts you were given as you came in.（我想先请各位看一下你们进来时拿到的这份讲义。）

补充：
在你讲完开场白(opening statement)后，应先跟观众说明，若有问题或是有意见时，应该在何时提出。你可以试试以下几句：
Please hold all of your questions until the end. （有问题的话请在简报结束时发问。）
If you have questions or comments throughout the presentation, please feel free to express them right away.（倘若你们待会有问题要问，或是想发表评论，尽管当场提出来没关系。）
Please write down any questions on the post-it notes I have provided and place them here. We will deal with questions before the break.（麻烦将你们的问题写在我提供的便利贴上，再将便利贴放到这里来，我们会在休息前处理这些问题。）


Step3：说明行动方针 具体且鲜明
Let's consider this in more detail. The increase in sales in Europe is in stark contrast to the decline in sales in North America last month.（我们来仔细研究一下这件事，欧洲销售量提升和上个月北美销售量下降，两者形成了鲜明的对照。）

说明：
光是点出主题还不够，你还必须钜细靡遗地讨论主题有多重要，并且跟观众说明你打算采取什么行动。除了「Let's consider this in more detail……」（我们来仔细研究一下这件事……）之外，这里还有些句子可用：
「Where does that lead us?」（这会引领我们走向什么方向？）、「What does this mean for our company? I believe……」（我们公司如何看待这件事？我相信……）、「Translated into real terms……」（实际来说……）。

例句：
Where does that lead us? The increase in sales in Europe will necessitate an increase in production for our German retailers. （这会引领我们走向什么方向？欧洲销售量增加，德国零售商的产量势必会跟著增加。）
What does this mean for our company? I believe we need to begin an extensive and focused advertising campaign in North America. （我们公司如何看待这件事？我相信我们需要在北美发动铺天盖地的宣传活动，而且目标要非常明确。）
Translated into real terms, if sales do not improve over the next few months, we may be looking at layoffs and cutbacks. （实际来说，倘若接下来几个月的销售量未见起色，公司就得裁员、节流了。）
